Presentation wise the food looked good, flavor wise was blah which talks about the quality and freshness of the food. The service was slow, really slow for only a few tables occupied. The bathroom was dirty and in front of it you could see the kitchen which didn’t look much better.

Whenever I see Pad See Ew on the menu, I have to try it. For years, I’ve been dreaming of going back to Penny’s Noodles in Chicago to get my fix. Moon Thai just knocked it out of the park! Not only was it beautiful to look at, the dish was out of this world. The shrimp were numerous and perfectly cooked. I was blown away. I also tried the pan fried pork buns and they were fantastic. I can’t wait to come back and try some of their other dishes. Highly recommend!!!

My coworker and I got food poisoning from their tempura rolls and chicken. A couple of hours after consuming the rainbow roll and shrimp tempura roll I got horrible nausea, muscle aches, pounding headache, fever, diarrhea, and was vomiting. This lasted 2.5 days. Their food tasted mediocre at best. Due to my symptoms I believe the food was not fresh. I would stay clear of this place.

I enjoyed the food here and service was very friendly. I ordered two dim sum dishes, the pork buns and fried shrimp. Both came out hot and fresh with delicious flavor! For my main dish I ordered yellow curry, it wasn’t the same flavor I’m used to but still very good. I had shrimp in the curry and liked them, but they were big and a bit difficult to eat with my chopsticks, I kept getting curry on my face. Wait time seemed to take a bit longer than I expected seeing as there were not a lot of people at the restaurant, but maybe they had a lot of to-go orders. Food was very hot temperature and fresh. I ordered mango sticky rice to-go and was happy with the flavor and size. I would probably go back again and try other menu items when back in this area.

The sushi here is great. We used to go to sushi ray before they closed due to the buildings rent increase. We were in love with their volcano roll. It was difficult finding another place that served conch on their volacano rolls. The roll is almost exactly the same the only difference is the conch is much chunkier here its not as smooth and diced up and it appears to be slightly less than what sushi ray had. but I’m not sure if thats just because its more chunky. I prefer the smoother texture but I’m honestly just so happy to have found a roll that tastes the same. The other rolls I’ve tried are also good. I have not yet tried the other dishes here because Its hard for me not to go for the volcano roll but I’m sure its delicious. I did try a tuna appetizer once I dont remember what it was called but it was fried rice with tuna on top it was presented very nicely and it taste very good. Its not a huge or fancy restaurant but its clean and has a nice atmosphere with lots of booths and the food is amazing. The staff is very attentive and friendly. That also differs from sushi ray. There was one month when we were getting it twice a week. Sometimes I’d walk in and I’d feel like he was rushing me out the door. If I was picking up food to go and had to wait the owner would be almost yelling saying “go sit over there!” He never smiled. It was okay because I could see he was busy and the food was good but its nice to have people who are friendly and great you when you walk in.
