The long blonde headed girl with glasses that took our order went above and beyond to please us. My mom and I ate there for the first time ever and we’ll be returning customers when we visit Lufkin again. The “girl” because she was obviously younger than us and looked youthful was so nice and made sure that everything was done to our satisfaction. We can’t have pork products and made sure that there wasn’t any kind of pork of any kind on our food she even checked things like what kind of oil for certain things that we didn’t inquire about. She even walked out to our table to make sure everything was right, after the food came. The food was amazing and plentiful you definitely get your moneys worth. Loved this place. The only thing that I thought would make this place any better is if they had someone coming around asking if you need refills or anything else before you leave. Other than that perfect diner.❤️❤️❤️

The burger was ok, it wasn’t the best that I’ve ever had, and while it wasn’t bad it wasn’t really good either, don’t go out of your way to get one ♂️ (I actually prefer my home made burger over this) I also had green beans they were ok and the fried okra was normal as well. I enjoyed the onion rings but I will say this, if you live in this small town this is probably the best burger that you have had, but me personally I’ve been all over and this burger is probably 3 out of ten. They have an amazing staff, very kind and welcoming and it is also very clean inside.

Moms Dinner makes the best hamburger in Texas. They their mom’s #1 or #2. Just the right amount of everything. It’s a full meal all by itself. Great service! The inside is family style dinning tables. I can’t say enough about the experience. I went there today. My neighbor who is 96 years young wanted a hamburger so I recommend mom’s. I gave her the bag when I came through her down and she stated the bag was heavy. Her eyes widened in surprise.

Best burger ive had in Lufkin so far. Fries are great. All the veggies are fresh. They do take pride in their hamburgers and fries and it shows. Onion rings are good. Sweet tea is good. They have coke zero which my family enjoyed and we purchase regularly at home. Dinning areas are clean. Burnt tables are a very nice touch. The seats are comfy. The bathroom could use a little bit of tidying up but that’s the customers making it dirty. The prices are good the food didn’t take long. There weren’t a big crowd but business stayed steady. The staff was friendly but on the loud side but sometimes that’s just people’s personalities are like that. I used to be a very loud type myself so I understand. It’s nice but you don’t have to wait on staff to refill your drinks for you because there is a soda fountain. The air conditioning is very nice so don’t be afraid to sit down and eat your food with your family and enjoy it. Now the outside of the place could definitely use some sprucing up. But when you come to this place you come for the high quality food not necessarily for the aesthetics of the building itself. We will definitely be back for more this place will go in my top three places to eat in Lufkin. Until next time God bless.

The food is fantastic CLEAN, and HEALTHY!?! I have never had a more friendly staff in a great place to eat!?! The atmosphere is 100% happy; a place where you can go to have one of the best meals @ a great price with lots of food for your money!?! The chef will be happy to see you for questions about catering your office or work, are you thinking about a party @ the job you need to have this place do it for you!?! You will impress your coworker and family!?! If you’re looking for a road trip with some place to go find your self driving here!?! This place is worth one thousand five hundred miles of driving for that one of a kind experience in hard to find good eats!?!
