I’m here in Virginia to visit my family for a week and kinda craved Thai food. I found this restaurant on google maps and wanted to try. When I drove there I couldn’t find the restaurant because they don’t have a noticeable sign outside (just small one) so I missed it at first but it’s close to the theater. The food was so delicious. The taste was like real Thai food from Thailand. The staff was so nice and friendly (not sure if she is the owner) just make sure you check the hours before go there because they close after lunch and open again for dinner. 11:30- 2:30 pm and then 5 – 9 pm on weekdays.

Wow what a gem! The food is incredibly delicious and just the right amount of spicy. We LOVE the Tom Kha soup and Tom Yum soup. The curry, the noodles, the rice…Yum! Everything is so good! Lovely atmosphere with impeccable service.

Amazing. I’ve been to many Thai restaurants in my day, and this one is probably the best. Prices were decent. Thai iced tea was good and waiter was great. I would love to come back. Oh also the complimentary salad was great!

Went for a day trip to visit Danville Caesars casino. Looking for a place to have lunch in the downtown area. Google search brought us to Moon River Thai Bistro. This place is literally a hole in the wall! Don’t blink or you will drive by and pass it, it’s located inside an apartment building that has converted into a business. Parking is in the back. Food that we ordered was Pad See Ew and Tom Yum soup, delicious! Not to mentioned the complimentary rice soup that was served. Server was very nice, she’s Thai so food and decor seemed all around authentic! Will be going back for sure!

Authentic Thai Food! I’ll start with the wonderful customer service at this establishment. The young lady that took my order was very kind and she was the same individual that assisted me when I showed up to purchase my order. She was a very kind soft-spoken individual.

I have tried several dishes and liked them all. But the green curry with rice, shrimp, and veggies is my fav! The service is professional but I also enjoy the very friendly staff. The male waiter (name escapes me) is so courteous and always in a good mood. I always get our food to-go but plan to eat-in real soon with my husband. He’s a fan as well!
