Great drive bar! Good for beer and shots. Not great for cocktails as they are on tap and sugary. Good place to hang with friends and get a little rowdy. Great vibe, cool lights, and picturesque. In the Cap Hill area so there is a lot around. Bathrooms are clean which I appreciate. Finding seating can be difficult if there’s a long line waiting for drinks. Friends call this place “the graffiti bar.”

Was recommended by a local while on my first visit to Seattle and per the many other reviews, tried the Moscow Mule! Amazing. Also had the Peach Bellini. Love that these were on tap as I’d never seen that before! Really enjoyed the vibe, graffiti and written notes all over the place and the people were kind and chill. I was comfortable coming here with my friend and would be comfortable going alone.

For whatever reason I never frequented Montana when I used to live blocks away….but I’ve been here a few times when I’ve been visiting from North Beacon, where I live now, and it’s probably one of the most chill places on the Hill. It feels like the old Capitol Hill, in a good way. I’ll keep coming back.
