The salad plate doesn’t look attractive. On the picture it looked much more appetizing. After eating it, i was actually satisfied. I don’t think i would ever come back again unless they hire a skillful salad plate decorator and reduce the price a little.

Got myself one of the seasonal options, it was wonderful and fresh! Crispy chicken was perfectly cooked and not too heavy. Excellent addition to the neighborhood, will be back soon.

I came here with two other friends and we were excited to try this place. We were hoping for a new tasty and healthy location in Berkeley. The staff was really kind and welcoming when we walked in, which earned this place its first two stars. All three of us ordered the Bachelor which sounded amazing; the menu said it had steak, roasted potatoes, caramelized onions, and many other delicious toppings. But when one of the employees was putting together my salad, she reached under the salad bar and pulled out precooked steak wrapped in paper to put into my salad. Now this salad was $17… and they gave me precooked steak!? I don’t know about you, but steak is only good if it’s cooked properly and sliced just before serving. There were employees in the kitchen standing there doing nothing—they could’ve cooked me up fresh steak. I figured I’d try it, but honestly the steak smelled funny and had an odd texture since it had been sitting there for who knows how long. I’m not sure if they do the same with their other meat proteins (grilled chicken, crispy chicken, and bacon are their other options I think). To top it off, they charged us with an additional employee surcharge. My guess is they are too cheap to take money out of their earnings to support their staff with the necessary benefits so they charge customers extra. The final price was $24, after taxes and the surcharge, for a salad I could’ve put together at home and with freshly cooked steak at that price point. I’ve had much better elsewhere. Even though the salad tasted decent, I personally don’t think it’s worth it and would not come back.

A salad with chicken was over $20 and it didn’t taste good at all. The worker was very kind, but other workers just stood there doing nothing which makes me think the store is overstaffed. Sadly, I can’t recommend this food to others and I miss the Paris Baguette that previously held this location.

Good salad, fresh, lots of options, well made. They ask for both a tip and an “employee surcharge” which is obnoxious though—including that and tax, a nominal $15 salad cost $22.

I ordered pick up, and when i got home i noticed they have forgotten to add the crispy chicken and there is no way to contact them at that point. The dressing was so flavorless and bland. We both had very unsatisfactory experience and will not be going back there

Staff are kind, location is spacious, clean, and upscale. Food is good as well, but I tend to stick with simpler salads so I can’t speak for the ones with various other ingredients.

I’ve enjoyed the food here! I usually grab a salad (tried their elote, cobb, and caesar so far) and their Agua Fresca to-go. Service is friendly and welcoming.

Food amount is very poor almost all the time. I am very disappointed and sad feeling because another location is not like that. Of course it’s clean because they are new. But whole atmosphere is stingy. Even lunch time on the weekends, nobody there.
