They weren’t kidding about out of the way! The food was really good. I enjoyed my steak and wife enjoyed her chicken fingers. I enjoyed the spunky atmosphere of the restaurant and the hostess(she was awesome and could really handle a crowd). Service was problematic though. The waitress was not very attentive. She had a bad habit of walking away while we were asking questions about the menu (happened twice). I went through my original glass of water pretty quickly and never received a refill. I had planned on getting dessert but our waitress had other plans. She simply brought our bill without asking if we were done or if we would like anything else. I felt like we were being rushed out to make room for other customers. I asked a question about an item on the dessert menu, she literally walks behind me, pauses, gives a short answer then doesn’t wait for the follow up question or ask if we’d like to see the menu. She just walked away never to be seen again. This seemed a little rude to me. Though she might have just been a little overwhelmed. They were very busy and just recently reopened.

First time March 7, 2020. Had the ‘Nicole’ house ribeye. A most delicious and perfectly grilled steak with the usual sides!! Worth the drive especially on a beautiful afternoon and evening. Be careful of the hours. Will be back to give the other dishes a try.

This place is amazing from the food to the service. The steak and eggs were amazing. The atmosphere was fun and easygoing. Over all the it was a great experience! I wish I could go to this place a lot more often.

Arrived around 4:30 PM on a Saturday. Good thing we did because the place was packed when we left. The steak was the best of the trip and the bill was reasonable. Next time we will bring something for them to use as decoration.

I often dream about being the archeologist who finds priceless gems where nobody has thought to look before. Well… Missy’s Cafe may be the closest I’ll ever get to fulfilling that dream. Simply amazing! Outstanding food, service, and atmosphere all nestled in the Kentucky countryside. Love it!

So, food was good and the place is amazing to look at it with so many different things. And don’t mind the drive at all for the food. But the service was horrible. I watched 5 other tables get their food before mine when we got there before them. Our waitress didn’t check up on us for an hour even after another waitress brought us our food. I should never have to get up and wait at the register for 3 minutes just for you to tell me, “oh I was just about to check up on you guys” as you were walked past to go to another table and then walked right back to me. Bee-Esss. … hopefully if we go back we won’t get the same waitress or I’ll just request another one

It’s like going to a family cookout in your brothers pole barn and your sister is grilling with your cousins and aunts waiting on you. Great steak, friendly service and the SOB’s are a must!! (You’ll see) We have found our new go to restaurant!!

I was disappointed with this place. I had been looking forward to eating here. I made a special trip, just to eat here. But the service was terrible. When we were seated we waited 15 mins for our waitress to take our order. While she waited on other tables that were seated after us. Finally we asked another employee if we could order and she said that wasn’t her job and she would tell the waitress. I don’t see why she couldn’t write that on paper and take it to the kitchen but whatever. Then after another couple of minutes our waitress came back, and said that she forgot about us, so then we were about to order then she walked off again. So we just left, and it’s not worth trying again. Bad service
