Connie is a gem! These are literally the best doughnuts I’ve ever had. Obviously the glazed is where it’s at but the bavarian creme and the fruit filled are also really good.

This place is definitely a throw back to a classic bakery. Between the decor and the giant baked goods you feel at home. While most of the doughnuts look like a quick attempt was made to decorate them, the flavors and textures make up for it. They’re almost a imperfectly-perfect doughnut. If you’re in the area give them a try. I do wish given the decade we live in, that they would take debit/credit cards. It’s not a deal breaker, just a inconvenience. They are very friendly and offer a great service, so please check them out.

It was disappointing that this place only excepts cash or checks. With this day and age it would have been nice if the excepted debit cards or credit cards. I was an out of towner excited to try the donuts out. The minute we walked up to the door. We had to leave. Not alot of people carry cash these days. So disappointing..

I used to live in the area. It has been many years and I’ve moved around the country; Jim and Connie’s remain the best donuts I have ever had. Their glazed donuts are big and soft and not dry like most other places; I miss them dearly! We used to bring them in occasionally at BHS. Fridays were the most delicious days.
