So I moved to Marshall a year ago from Dallas, Tx and today was my first time at Miguel’s Authentic Mexican Food and I have to say it was delicious.

Beautiful decor inside. Service was quick and staff was friendly. The food was decent. Not the best I’ve ever eaten, but it was good for the area. I really wanted to try a street taco, but I ended up ordering chicken enchiladas with red and green sauce.

I cannot even tell you how happy we were to find this place! It’s always a gamble when a restraunt in this area says “authentic Mexican Food” 9 times out of 10 you will get something smothered in queso lacking in any kind of spice and more like Tex mex than anything. We make our own at home for that reason….. but it was such a relief to find a place that brings some different cultured flavors to the North East! We knew by the salsa we were in the right place. Thank you for the great food and wonderful service! Can’t wait to return! definitley our new family favorite!

Excellent food and service. I had a shredded beef burrito with a queso sauce. Chips and salsa were also very good. Nice restaurant with reasonable prices. When I entered, I was greeted by an adorable young boy with excellent manners who showed me to my table. A 6th star for that. 🙂

Very nice Mexican place in downtown Marshall. Everyone in restaurant was v nice and warm. They did provide menudo to my husband and made the seafood soup for me on request!

My found this place on Facebook. Great food. Service was very lacking. We had a young lady sat us, took our order, never ask us what we wanted to drink. She leaves and never gave our order to ANYONE ELSE. 10 minutes later a young man ask about us.

Family owned & our waiter (the son) took such pride in serving his father’s creations. He handled our large party with such grace. The chicken enchiladas were delicious and the tacos were outstanding. The salsas were smooth and loaded with flavor. Excellent, homestyle Mexican food! And the service was outstanding!
