Few guilty pleasures have survived our modern day and the trials we have all faced over the past few years… Michaelangelo’s all-you-care-to-eat buffet is one of the last vestiges of what we loved about the ‘before’ time. Cost… Resonable. Taste… Better than a cafeteria-style served buffet at a college pizza joint should be. Your journey starts with (2) slices of pizza chosen from the pies layered before you in the glass presentation case, next you recieve a heap of [mostly] al dente spaghetti, smothered by a house prepared marinara that would make my Grandmother blush with approvall – all tied together with a selection of beverages. Then, eat and repeat. With (3) locations in the Greenville, NC area; just get in your car, drive there and bring your appetite. Note, small restaurants like these need our support and patronage to continue providing gastronomic options for eaters like us. Pro-tip, get the fried Mushrooms with ranch. Shout-out — loved the collection of chef’s hats today the staff donned! Such fun! Update: With food costs on the rise, I am literally amazed at the quality and quatity that Michaelangelo’s still provides. Is it a bit more expensive than years past? Yes, but still well worth the trip. Molto Bene!

I went to the location across from Kohl’s and ordered a Chicken Cheesesteak. The chicken was over cooked and was very very dry. The sandwich lacked flavor and the cheese seemed cheap. I am very disappointed in this location.

The pizza we had ordered was AWFUL! I think it was a pizza they pulled out of the display case. It wasn’t warm and the crust was like cardboard. I will not come back.

I went there today and saw the cashier put a paper plate that a customer had been using back on the plates that they’re going to give other customers. When I questioned her she acted like l didn’t see what l saw. I gladly got my money back and left. That’s nasty and l wouldn’t recommend this as a clean place to eat. That’s cross contamination and she (the Caucasian girl with the color in her hair)acted like l was wrong for saying something.
