Very nice family restaurant. I really enjoyed my meal , the food was great and the atmosphere was very relaxing. But with everything else in today’s world nothing is A one upon my friend and I entering the restaurant we was greeted by the host , told her we had reservations & name , She looked up the name and said she couldn’t find it, I then showed her the reservation on my phone and she still said she couldn’t find it because maybe she was spelling the name wrong, but any ways come on, she proceeds to take my friend and I to a table we sit down a nice young man came over took our drink order as soon as the young man walked away here come the same hostess explaining to us that she has a very big party coming in and she need us to move…. Okay after all that you just took us through to even get a table that we reserved you have the never to come back and ask us to move, needles to say I was very upset why could she not find the reservation and place us at the table we reserved. How dear you treat or look down on people you work with the public it was Juneteenth weekend and your working in a black owned business shame on you and if you only like certain groups of people maybe you should reevaluate your career I drove from upstate New York to visit and to be treated like we was by the hostess sucked.. 6/18/23 7:00,pm

The restaurant was really nice, the staff were amazing, appetizers and sides were good but we were very very disappointed with the steaks! For being a steakhouse we were excepting a really good one but unfortunately it was cold once it got at the table, didn’t have enough seasoning and it was very basic for the price we paid.

The server gets all the stars. I don’t remember her name, but she was perfect. Food is OK. It was a little overpriced if u ask me. The steak pasta was the best thing for the right price. I had lamb. Meh. The trio mashed potatoes was good. Drinks blah. You spend all this money -you have high expectations. I wouldn’t go back.

I’ve never gone out of my way to write a review but the service and food at MJ’s steakhouse was the best I’ve ever had! My boyfriend and I got the tomahawk steak, mac n cheese, baked potato, and fries. Our waitress was phenomenal and attentive. We were seated at a high top table right between the kitchen and bar, and it was perfect! The manager, Dallas, even checked in with us and recommended some dessert. I ended up getting the baked Alaska, and to my surprise when we got the bill the dessert was on the house! I’ve never enjoyed restaurant food and atmosphere as much as this place! We came all the way from Maine and couldn’t be happier with our choice to come here for dinner. We’ve spent the rest of the summer chasing a restaurant as good as this – and nothing has come even remotely close! We’ve been trying to find a reason to get back to Connecticut very soon just to come back to this steakhouse!

After a night of gambling, the fellas and I got a spot at this steakhouse. The smoked bacon appetizer was tender and delicious. For the cocktail, Jordan’s Crush, was OK.

Can’t wait to go back. The Steak Flight is just out of this world. The mash potatoe trio is it’s own meal….. And the Mac and cheese is rich and creamy. Also had the carrot cake.

Stop Short Changing people that buy the tomahawk. The bone was completely shaved off. Meat was cut off the bone. Where is the connective tissue on the presliced meat. I like gnawing the bone. I know there should be more meat. My guess is that it went into your other dish you sell called the short rib pasta.

My wife and I went for our anniversary and everyone was really nice throughout the night. Every time something was dropped at the table someone wished us happy anniversary. And the food was excellent too!
