Came here for lunch and ordered several small dishes family style as well as some of the bowls for ourselves. Overall, most of the flavors were good, although everything was a little bit salty for my taste. Portion size was also on the smaller side since it was tapas style.

Finally made it to Mi Kitchen and now I completely understand all the great reviews! My husband and I absolutely loved every single bite!!!! The chef really nails every flavor profile and balances every dish out with the perfect ratio of salty, sweet, acid, heat, and unami! The casual atmosphere and reasonable prices, make this a place that you can go back to often without feeling like you have to wait for a special occasion! We started out with the smashed cucumber and I would highly recommend this as a warm up for the palate! Other dishes we tried were the k-pop chicken, crispy rice tuna, cauliflower, udon, pork taco, and finished off with the carmelato for dessert, which brought me back to childhood! I could fully try to describe the delight of every one of these dishes but I’d probably go way over my allotted word count, so I’ll just say this..You can’t make a mistake here. Next time we will try things we didn’t, and yet still crave the ones we did! Just do yourself a favor and go there!

This place has a very cool vibe. It’s essentially Korean Fusion small plates. You’ll enjoy adult food and drinks with a background of k pop (at just the right volume). The people are fun and informative; quick with great menu feedback. We enjoyed the edamame dumplings, the gochujang gnocchi, plantains, and the tuna poke. They recommend 2-3 plates per person, which was perfect for us. Wine list is small, but quality-packed. Someone has carefully curated the menu, and the whole experience here.

Went for the soft open and I’m glad we stopped in. No beer or liquor yet, so mostly soft drinks and water. Don’t know if it’s a limited menu or not but we tried 6 plates and ranked them from favorite to least favorite: steak was perfect and the sides were excellent, Korean pop chicken was a great balance of protein & breading, the gnocchi was nice and spicy and the presentation was excellent, the paella was perfectly cooked and the kimchi was a nice touch- just thought it needed something funky added. The poke bowl was okay, but way to much sauce for my taste but the crunch was a really great touch. And our least favorite was the hamachi (yellow tail). The shredded garnish was in pretty rough shape and it was heavy on the sauce. All around, an excellent experience with lively music and lovely interior. We’ll be back.

This place is very new and they’re off to a great start! Interior is very nice and the food is amazing! Has the steak and the Korean pop chicken. The staff were extremely friendly and super quick service. The only reason for 4 stars is because for just these two small dishes and a soda, ended up being around $35. For a tapas restaurant the pricing could be better or at least more options with lower prices to choose from.

This is a very cozy and different place, hard to discover but with good intentions. Not the best place to calm your hunger that’s for sure, small portions but overall a good “introduction to the Korean cuisine”. Small table we sat on, kinda uncomfortable because of how close we were placed with the other table and no privacy.

After constant disappointments with Korean restaurants in Nashville, Mi Kitchen was a delightful experience. Korean inspired fusion tapas. Yum! Especially the dumplings and k-chicken. We ordered everything on the menu and they were all good. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

We were warmly greeted by the staff and well taken care of during the whole dinner. Both the manager and chef took their time to greet and speak to the patrons. The ambiance was very chic but welcoming. The booths we sat in were comfortable and dimly lit but still bright enough to see and enjoy your food. Each dish was incredible. We got the plantains, edamame dumplings and K-pop chicken. The sauce for the plantains had just a hint of spice but not too much. You will never taste anything like the edamame dumplings. The citrus truffle oil and creamy edamame were to die for. The K-pop chicken had the perfect crispy texture and both a hint of sweet and hint of spicy that made the perfect match. You can tell each recipe was crafted very thoughtfully. I know there are many exciting new menu items and cocktails on the way. Will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu and to get more of those edamame dumplings!
