Been meaning to stop into this restaurant ever since it opened and popped in on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated quickly and within a few minutes we had our drinks the waitress was friendly but I got the feeling she was having a little bit of trouble understanding what I was saying. She brought us some chips and salsa in right away and they were fair. I ordered the ChoriPollo which is a chicken breast with melted queso onions and chorizo on top. My husband ordered an enchilada , burrito and a taco combination plate. Took a little while for the food to come but the waitress brought us another basket of chips and salsa while we were waiting which was very nice. The chicken I found to be a little on the dry side it was a generous piece of chicken but it was pretty thin and dry and very little chorizo on top . I really didn’t taste any queso but when I was looking at the pictures I saw that there was some cheese on there. My husband’s combination platter he was happy with but I did think it had too much tomato sauce and not much seasoning. All in all it was good for the price

If this is the same Mexican restaurant in lady lake with the name brisas del Mar 2 then listen here: been here several times food is good but last time the experience was horrible perhaps get food to go and make sure to check it have gotten orders wrong repeatedly before. The waiter was very rude and we told the manager and he laughed at us so now we’ll laugh in a few years when this place closes. How unprofessional highly don’t recommend.

We went early on Sunday, a little after 4pm. The restaurant got steadily busier as we ate. Our drink order was taken pretty quickly and the drinks came out quickly. The chips and salsa were fair, but not nearly as tasty as I have had elsewhere. It took a while for the waitress to come back for the food order. The food did come out within a decent amount of time. We had a variety of items. My Father had the three seafood combo in a chimichanga. But there was not much seafood in the dish. But it was served with rice and beans and was a fair portion. My mother had vegetable quesadillas which was plentiful and very good according to her. My wife had beef and chicken fajitas. She or I did not like the way they were prepared with too much tomato sauce. I had three enchiladas, one of each, chicken, beef and cheese. They were just okay. The sauce was fair and the chicken was my least favorite and cheese was my favorite. It came with beans and rice. The refried beans are usually one of my favorites. But I did not care for theirs at all. The rice, however, was outstanding and the best part of the meal. I also had a margarita, which was on special. I like my drinks stout and I wanted to ask if it was a virgin drink because I couldn’t taste the alcohol. Overall none of the food was impressive other than the rice. The inside was very well remodeled with new floors, colorful, tropical booths, tables and chairs. Very nice. The service was good. I don’t know if I will be back as we have a favorite Mexican restaurant a little farther away. Hopefully the food will improve.
