I had the opportunity to experience Rio Verde on Cinco de Mayo. I had a very tasty margarita on the rocks. I ordered fajitas to go (chicken, shrimp, & steak). I enjoyed my meal at home but I will definitely be back to dine out on the patio!

Maybe dinning in is better. Honestly we ordered the family taco night dinner. All the tortillas were stuck together and would not come apart. We did not receive any guacamole. We did received the green sauce that was so hot my son almost threw up. The portions received for 4 people were really small. Except the tomatoes we were given a large container of those. The chicken was not really seasoned and very hard to chew. The queso, was separate from the family meal… as very sour. Could be the cheese they use. Literally sent a bag of chips, the size of an snack size or lays. It was very disappointing after reading a the great reviews. This is not $45.00 worth of food. We did NOT have it delivered.

We usually come here weekly ( taco Tuesdays) for tacos and chips with queso. The prices are a real bargain on Tuesdays. Dine in tacos $1 and to go $2. The servers are always friendly and easy going. The food is delicious .

Restaurant is very nice, colorfully, comfortable; menu full of choices, drinks great… BUT…. at the time to pay we find out they charge 1 tip 18% and still there was an empty line for tip. They said that’s automatic charge for parties 6 or more. We were 2 adults and 3 kids. That’s 5. Also, the restaurant keeps 50% of the tip and the other 50% is for the server. WHAT? The couple servers we talked about the tip beg us not to publish this situation because they gonna be reprended for the owner and eventually they can loose their job.

Very expensive, food was just okay. 2 tacos & a chimichanga, 1 coke and small margarita was $70. Margaritas were not good & didn’t drink it. But i had to pay for it. Waitress couldn’t understand us & had to get someone to help take our order which wasn’t special.

Came to this place to eat and celebrate Cinco de mayo visiting from out of town. 1st could only order from a special menu not the full menu, meat was dry and cold. Taco salad was basically in a plate full of grease from the ground beef. Asked for the manager and he or she never came to table. The waiter told us we have other people in here to wait on. The WORST WORST experience ever.

I wouldn’t say it would be a romantic spot for a date….but 2 seniors that have reunited (20 separation) for over 30 years it was made romantic enough by the fantastic live entertainment supplied with the delicious meal and tasty margaritas. We are planning a return on the March 24th in hopes of repeating our experience.
