The Honey Baked Ham Company what a difference a change in stores makes. We’ve been going to the Mayfield Heights store for the last couple years and I got to be honest this time we went to the Willoughby location on Euclid and 91 and it was night and day. First off the store itself is run so much more efficiently and they were ready at 7:00 AM and people weren’t standing around meaning the customers wondering where to go. It was all planned out and they were jamming and I didn’t feel like I was getting this weird dismissive attitude like I’ve gotten in the past at the Mayfield Heights location when I had the nerve to ask a question. We get the sliders because for two people it’s the best holiday meal out there because it’s plenty of food and a great price and when they make the sliders correctly they are so delicious. This time we got the turkey with the cheddar cheese and the herb butter and the honey mustard and the dill pickles and they were so and are so delicious. No other place really thinks about smaller parties like two people everybody is very expensive and what are we going to do with all that food? So thank you Honey Baked Ham for thinking of people that aren’t in a large group or family and thank you for having a location that really knows what they’re doing and treats the customers with dignity and respect. The only qualm I have is though their open sign was on in the window the actual sign itself on the building, which I’m thinking must light up, wasn’t turned on and if it doesn’t light up well they should have some kind of a light out there so we can more easily find them. Location location location and believe me the Mayfield Heights store is 5 minutes from where we live, but we would rather drive the 15 or 20 minutes to Willoughby and get a product that really is delicious and worth the money. Get the sliders specifically the Take and Bake ones and you won’t be sorry.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I went here on Christmas Eve because I had messed my turkey up for my family. I called prior to arriving to see if they still had turkey and they told me they did have three left and were still open. Upon arrival the manager was in the lobby and before I could say anything he yelled at me telling me “WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO TURKEY”. Mind you I hadn’t said one word to anyone nor asked for a turkey when I got there. I then asked politely if they had any ham left. The manager took a full slabbed ham and slammed it on the counter telling me “ this is all we have and it’s 100$ take it or leave it”. At this point I was a little embarrassed with the interaction. I didn’t want to spend that much on a ham so I asked if they might have had any sides left and he pointed at the fridge and said can’t you see it’s right there. I work in the service and retail industry so I understand busy days and being over stimulated but you have lost me and my families business. I left without purchasing anything because it seemed as no one in the building wanted my money. I have never walked out of a store that I wanted to purchase from because the service was bad I’m usually pretty good with over looking the situation but this was the worst experience I’ve had all holiday season. Me and my family bring honey baked hams from this location and spend hundreds here during the holiday season but Me and my family will never spend money here ever again. I’d rather make a further drive then go back. I’ll also be letting everyone know about the poor interaction here. If you want to be degrading and embarrassed and disrespected then this is the place for you

Great variety of fresh meats and Pastries/ Cakes. Freshly prepared lunch and dinner meals. Pricing is a bit high but for Quality Premium Meats it’s too be expected. Counter Person was very helpful and courteous. Now’s the time to order or get that premium Ham for the Holidays.

Ordered a 11 to 11.9 lb.ham. I was given a 10.6 after waiting 35 minutes and told ” it’s okay you will get 8 dollars back on your card” I replied i don’t care about 8 dollars. I care about having enough food for my guests. In a rude condescending tone she replied ” well have a merry christmas” I will never shop there again.

My dad bought a HAM 11/25 for Thanksgiving ( yesterday) it was HORRIBLE, THE TASTE WAS OFF. I fried a piece just to see if that would switch it up..NO…He spent $$$ to trash the whole ham. It’s been part of our tradition since I was a teenager standing outside at Southgate. I am 60years old and the quality now is trash. No more H.B.H

I had to go here right before Easter and I knew it would be crazy. But they had it organized into 2 lines. One for pre orders and the other walk ins. It went faster than I expected. They were prepared for the crowds. I don’t eat ham but my guests loved it as usual.
