Asked the lady in the back if there was any chicken left or if she could make me on to go and you would have thought I asked for her first born child. “ No you need to get here earlier if you want chicken I’m not making any just for you “ okay bye! I’m ecstatic that there’s finally a place in Front Royal that sells authentic tacos! They’re $2.50 each with a variety of meat options to choose from. Also available: quesadillas, tortas, burritos, paletas (Mexican fruit popsicle – yum!), etc. They don’t skimp on meat in these tacos and everything tasted great! The husband also got to practice his Spanish with some folks we met there 🙂 The market is small but stock full of so many items. Queso fridge and fresh meat in the back. Will definitely be back to eventually try everything on their menu, and to pick up more Mexican snacks and hot sauces!

One of the best tortas I have ever had. Concha is very sweet and I can’t thank her enough for her hospitality. My husband and I are coming back again to try more! Also very impressed with the options in the market (especially the spices) that you can purchase. Update: Just had the tamales. They are an absolute MUST. The masa is beautifully seasoned, the sauce is flavorful and the meat is tender. Both the chicken and pork are fantastic. Don’t sleep on getting the tamales.

I used to go here a lot because the food was great even though the staff openly made fun of me because they think I don’t understand Spanish. This last time I went they were beyond disrespectful, loudly making fun of my order in Spanish while I looked at the snacks on the shelves and it was the worst torta al pastor I’ve ever had. There was next to nothing on it, and they left off half the ingredients. I used to recommend this place to anyone who would listen but that will not be happening again.

Just tried the tacos for the first time and loved them! Tacos are my favorite, so I’m pretty happy to have found a local place to get them. These definitely taste more homemade than a typical chain restaurant, like Taco Bamba.

I love this little grocery store. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and they have a hugeeeee selection of authentic products. They have candy, tons of herbs, spices, chile, ice cream, fresh meat, fresh veggies, fresh fruit, and anything else you could think of they have it. The prices are great as well! The nice lady at the counter also told me that you can order food to go. Make sure to get a basket or cart when you walk in because you will need it! 🙂
