Their hot roast beef sandwich was always my favorite, but since COVID it seemed to not be as tender. Happy to say I had it last night and it was excellent!!! Look forward to coming back!

Well, unfortunately our favorite wing place has not escaped the employment struggles it seems. We are frequent McGlynn’s Pub fans and have been for years. Last night may have changed that. We arrived at 6pm for the special wing night on Wednesdays and were seated in the back room. The place was busy as usual but it became clear by the look on the waitress faces that we were in for a disappointing night. I won’t drag on but, the wings were literally uneatable. Burnt to a crisp, terrible taste, dead cold along with the fries. After a long wait we asked for a second batch that were “less done” and received more of the same. No refills as it took the waitress 15- 20 mins to come back to our seats. replacement fries were decent and so was my glass of water. I gotta say this is the first time I actually could not eat the food at a place. Picture is of the “replacement” wings that were supposed to be less done. Waitress was nice it clearly wasn’t her fault. I asked if they had a new cook or something and she said they only had one person working the fryer.

I went there on St. Patrick’s Day. It was very busy and festive. I was very surprised at how efficient the restaurant was being managed on this very busy holiday. I order a reuben and a guiness. Both were excellent. The server was quite attentive and as I could see she had at least 6-8 tables, impressive! I highly recommend this restaurant/pub!

Last night was my first and last time going here. I was racially profiled by the bartender as I was getting a drink with my brother (who is a consistent customer there). In order to get in security has to check your ID. My ID was checked and I was cleared to get in. Immediately I went to the bar and he asked for my brothers and I ID. (Note: My brother has said that has never happened before twice.) The Male bartender looks at the ID and proceeds to call me “sketchy.” He then begins to ask me my birthday; I tell him. He tells me I’m wrong and asks me again; I tell him. Come to realize he wasn’t even looking at the right ID, he was looking at my BROTHERS ID and not mine. My brother and I look nothing alike he is of lighter skin tone while I am a darker male. My ID was under my brothers ID which was in the bartenders hand. (Note: Other bartenders was telling him I’m good including the Guards who let me in.) When he realized that he messed up and assumed I was being sketchy, that I indeed said the correct birthday, and he was looking at the wrong ID. He disregarded me, didn’t even apologize and was like “Oh Okay.” No apology or anything. My brother is well known there by EVERYONE including security. We immediately left and many people stopped us asking what was wrong because it wasn’t normal for my brother to leave. It was the first time it happened and a fun night was ruined. As we left many people who knew my brother including security asked why we were leaving so soon and “what was wrong” we told them we will say it next time. My brother goes there all the time and he said that has never happened before. I am a 24 year old black male and I was highly disappointed. The bartender checked no one else’s ID, at all. Until it was my turn to get a drink. I am a teacher who works with all races of children and it was very disappointing to be profiled and called “Sketchy.”

Food was yummy and the portions were large. Our waitress was super friendly, but it definitely could have been better. It wasn’t crowded, so we had little wait to be seated. We did have to wait a while for the food but the wait was worth it.

Best place to watch a game with friends and eat some delicious wings at a reasonable price. Will never visit Hooterz again.

Went here a few days ago on Tuesday and we had burgers. My burger was slightly over cooked but not horrible, but it had no flavor in the meat and they’re home made burgers.. that’s sad. We got fires cheese curds and they was extremely salty and they took that off the check. The frenchfries come in a little tin can which was not full and they were like warm. Also they’re fries are definitely cheap frozen fries. We also waited for over 30 minutes just to receive our burgers and fries and they were super slow, so why so long of a wait to get warm fries and flavorless burgers. Never going back. The waitress was nice though but she should’ve cam and checked on us because she only came to bring us food, water, and never came to inform us on how long our food was going be after waited for 30 minutes after ordering and never refilled our glasses.
