I have been to this McDonald’s three times and everytime they have disappointed. The first time I went there I just got a coke so I can’t complain about much there. The second time I went I got a two pack of cookies with an ice cream cone, only to find out midway through eating it that there was about an eight inch hair twirled around in the bottom up the side of the cup. The hair is blonde and straight, and I have black curly hair. I went back to this location the next day, as it was too late for me to come back for a new one, and the manger( or employee) on staff had two airpods in and said “I don’t know nothing about that you have to talk to someone in the morning about that” and then sung a song while facing me. The same time I was going to get the new cone was where i had placed a $30+ order, to which they forgot 3 items, and in addition, gave me the wrong chicken sandwich. I don’t usually complain but the customer service here is awful (at least the people I delt with) as well as the staff member that was working drive through window at 10:30 PM on June 3rd, 2023.

I had no idea McDonald’s offered Braille menus and Hard-Of-Hearing Assistive Devices until I came to the McDonald’s located on the corner of 109th Ave. and Delaware Pkwy. in Crown Point, Indiana. This McDonald’s isn’t typical. They actually bring your tray and drinks to you while you wait in a lobby after you pay for your meal. Very technologically advanced – download the McDinald’s App to get great deals and to pre-order your meal and have it delivered to your car!

Went to this MCD on Tuesday 5/9. All I can say is that the service and food was horrendous! As with most people , I’ve been going to MCD my entire life. Went thru the drive thru, the order taker was somewhat rude. I ordered a kids nugget happy meal and a cheeseburger for my grandson. It was expensive at 8 bucks. I checked my order and it was a mess. Fries were just thrown upside down in the bag. I had to go inside to ask a worker to give me a new portion of fries. As you can see by this picture, the order had only about TEN individual fries. I’m astounded at how indifferent the help was. This experience was the WORST I’ve ever had at a McDonalds in my 65 years!!!

It’s great when I work the night shift, it’s close by. And well it serves food that’s right maybe 85% of the time. So better then the other McDonald’s that’s slightly farther away. Haven’t been in side but have looked through the windows (while in my car waiting for food) and it looks nice. Staffs nice for the most part, tho the later at night you go seemingly takes longer to get food. Oh well tho.

After ordering a frappe from the app they had me pull forward when I got to the pickup window which was very odd in itself but I thought maybe they needed to change something out or grab something from the back…. However after 15-20 minutes of waiting for them to bring it out I finally had to go in to ask for it. Even then it took several minutes to get the manager’s attention at a completely empty counter and even then it took a few more minutes to get it and he couldn’t even bother to apologize for forgetting about me waiting outside or it taking so long. There was maybe 10 cars in the drive thru the entire time I waited outside and not a single person at the counter inside so they were not busy. And I couldn’t get their attention once going inside bc they were too busy talking and joking around w each other to pay attention to anything else going on. A few months ago this was a great McDonald’s, however my last two experiences were appalling. I don’t write reviews often but hopefully this can save someone the frustration I’ve had the past couple times. Don’t understand how this location went so far downhill in such a short time.

This location is primarily run as a drive thru. It is rare that anyone is at the counter to help or take an order. And don’t even think of using curbside with a mobile order. You’ll wait an easy 20+ minutes for them to bring out your order, even if they aren’t busy.

Ordered our food from the kiosk at 1:21pm. At 1:43pm went up to the counter to find out where my order was at. Keep in mind we ordered in and asked for the food on a tray. I asked where my order was after waiting for it. (We were the only ones inside the building at this time) Asked who I thought was the manager what had happened. She had said they must have put it in a bag and sent it out the window. Ummm what??? “Too many cooks in the kitchen” I was not compensated for having to wait even longer, sometimes a sorry just doesn’t cut it for the lack of checkpoints that food went through to get the order out the window instead on on a tray for a dine in. Lol this place amazes me the two times I have been here months apart. Also how to you burn chicken nuggets haha.

For a new build could have designed for better quality food. Today’s prices shouldn’t get you a partially stale bun and cold cheese on a warm to cool burger. Why did I have to wait for so long for cold food.
