Great little bar on the Main Street in downtown Fairplay. $5 well drinks with decent pours and some food options that were surprisingly good. One of the two ladies at the bar was slightly gruff, but the other one was exceptionally friendly and more than made up for the aloof demeanor of the other. My French dip was 6.5/10, but the fries were 9/10. Most of everything you want to see and do in Fairplay is an easy walk, as well. Definitely recommend stopping in here if you’re on the look out for a good local watering hole!

We love sitting outside here in the summer! Beautiful flowers and great view. DIY food and drink ordering at the, no biggie. Very friendly staff. Very good bar food. Have never been here. later in the day.

Good options for vegetarians in this small town – veggie burger, veggie burrito, veggie chili. Plus standard bar fried fare done well. The veggie burrito and burger were both unique and tasty, if somewhat mushy. We enjoyed them very much. Kids menu has grilled cheese and quesadilla, can get side salad instead of fries which is nice as our 8 yo loves herself some greens. Great atmosphere and cold beer (only four on tap though… prefer more choice in a bar!). Great views on the patio of the weather is nice, but it’s almost always too windy in Fairplay for me to be interested in eating outside. Service was friendly and responsive. Great place for a family lunch.

As far as neighborhood taverns go, this is a good one. Indoor and outdoor seating. Keep in mind.. it’s a neighborhood bar. Serves food, but it’s bar food. Cheese curds are fantastic!! Good local beer selection. I’d call it a bar’s bar. Because it’s aaaall BAR. And, it’s good at what it does. If you love bars.
