The lady taking orders are very rude . After waiting for over 20 mins for her to take my order she acted as if I was bothering her to place an order! Red beans was not even a 3rd of beans and the rest was old hard rice. Definitely old beans as well. Chicken was fresh Thankfully we did have to wait for 30 mins for it to be cooked . But the young lady who brought out the food was very nice and polite.

there have been some mixed reviews about this location but I hardly ever use the drive thru. I like going in and that has resulted in me developing a personal relationship with the employees which goes a long way. Something about human interaction is magical. I have found the servers to be super sweet and personable ladies but a special shout out to Tatiana who showed me incredible kindness and turned a horrible day into a beautiful one and also Camellia. Some of the finest ladies I’ve only interacted with in a customer server relationship but wish I knew as friends

We were traveling home from my grandmothers funeral, 5 states and 12 hours each way. Travel day, funeral day, travel day. We went in to eat and take what we hoped was a quick break from the road. After placing our order 20 minutes elapsed, over a dozen people in drive thru and at counter ordering after us got their meals and left. Apparently who takes your order, preps and gives you your order. After 25 mins I went up to the counter and the worker who took my order saw me and gave a nod like coming right up… I watched while she started part of our order. Waited 5 more minutes to get the order with wrong sides, missing lemonade (behind counter item we had to remind them about), had to go back and ask for sauces and jelly too. Emotional and physical exhaustion aside, decent (at best) service would have been welcome.

Went to the one on Clay St 2 nights in a row trying to get my daughter some legs since thats all she eats. Was told both nights they had no legs cooked. They didn’t offer to cook any while I waited and acted shocked when I suggested just that. I find it hard to believe that especially on a Friday Night they just run out of legs at 7pm and don’t cook anymore. The 2nd night we found the 2nd Popeyes on Pemberton and had a MUCH better experience.

This a generic review for Popeye’s and their chicken sandwich. We had heard they had the best fried chicken sandwiches and BAM, they were right. We had the regular and the Cajun spiced chicken. Delicious!! The buns + veggies were good. The piece of chicken we had was pretty big. I thought it the best fast food chicken sandwich EVER…
