Bartender was rude but at least the fries made up for it somewhat. Side salad was good too and seemed fresh. This place is more of a vibe in the summer when outdoor seating is available and you don’t have to listen to the employees talk about how much they hate Valentines Day

Great little small town bar with awesome staff. I think maybe 8 to 10 little tables, a small bar top and a pool table.
Food was incredible! Some of the best onion rings I’ve had in ages. Burger and chicken wrap were delicious and exactly as requested. Coke products but I won’t hold that against them.
It was a long morning and food was so good.. almost forgot to take pictures.

I brought visiting family into Fairplay to show them how amazing this town is. However, the bartender Patty was so rude right off the bat. Almost walked out as soon as we sat down, but decided to give it a chance. She acted put out that we were even there and that we didn’t know exactly what we wanted as soon as we sat down even though we had never been there before but just heard from locals how great it was. She proceeded to share how awful her day has been and that she can’t wait to get off. This was around 4pm and she wasn’t off for another hour, come to find out. No specials were mentioned, and when others came in and asked about the specials she pointed to a board and said legit “that’s what it is, and it ain’t that special.” Her attitude was so very unprofessional. I have been in this industry for 15+ years and this kind of treatment towards customers, the snarky remarks, and overall bad attitude is unacceptable. If and when we would want to go back, we are going to call and see if she is working. If so, it’s a no go. She needs to find another job or something that makes her happy, obviously she is not cut out for this industry. Food was good but I do not even want to leave stars unless I can give negative stars. I’m The atmosphere would have been great if she wasn’t there.

Great little bar on the Main Street in downtown Fairplay. $5 well drinks with decent pours and some food options that were surprisingly good. One of the two ladies at the bar was slightly gruff, but the other one was exceptionally friendly and more than made up for the aloof demeanor of the other. My French dip was 6.5/10, but the fries were 9/10. Most of everything you want to see and do in Fairplay is an easy walk, as well. Definitely recommend stopping in here if you’re on the look out for a good local watering hole!

Bartender kicked me out based on feels. No reason no one said that I was problematic. I asked why why didn’t give reason then then she felt like it. I’m also a local. Petty bad service. Could not even tend asked for black and tend and disgraced herself by complaining to other customers that I asked if she could make black and tan trying to make me feel bad for asking/requesting drink but I did not further push and she made big deal about it. Worst tender I’ve had. Gave tip pitting her for work on Super bowl. I feel bad for her but reason she is working g small town bar.

We stopped in to get a quick bite on our way to Glenwood. Great local beers on tap, excellent food, and a friendly mountain atmosphere. It was so good, we drove an extra hour on the return trip and stopped in again. It was just as good the second time.

Rad little sports grill with a nice patio spread and a decidedly divey charm. The Buffalo Burger (no hot sauce, just lean bison meat) was a touch dry but offered great flavor and It was great to split with the wife along with a couple orders of crispy, golden tots. Washed it down with a couple yella bellies for a damn good time.

I can not recommend the $7.50 1oz Espolón tequila shot but I can recommend this joint if you’re looking to fill the void in your belly or bump into someone who might lend an ear.

Great place to stop in for a simple, but uncompromising meal. After a long hike, nothing tastes better than a draft beer and one of their juicy bison burgers. The salads are also very tasty. Great atmosphere with a pool table for some friendly post-dinner competition.

It was great to hang out there on Christmas Eve. It almost felt like family and was very welcoming. IPA was good too.
