This is not really a restaurant and certainly not a sushi bar. My wife and I wanted to take our granddaughter here for lunch after an appointment but were frustrated to find there were no tables. There were only two high stools at a counter that faced not the sushi chef but rather the traffic on Morlot Avenue. I cannot comment on the food that we never ate given the extremely limited seating. (We went to Zevy’s Pizza instead where we enjoyed a great meal.) Prandium emptor–let the diner beware.

I tried many sushi places in the area and in Rockland County, and this is by far the best sushi I had in years. Also, as a vegan, I don’t eat fish. I was impressed that without me saying anything, the worker changed gloves and kept everything clean between orders, which makes the difference for me.

Mashu Mashu is my go-to sushi place. Everything I have tried was amazing. I have never tried a sushi burger before so I decided to try it. I only need to use one word to describe it…breathtaking. The burger was perfectly cooked and with the sauces like spicy mayo and the jalapeno sauce topped on the burger, it was a meal that I could eat pretty much everyday. The workers are all very kind.

We don’t live local and were passing through Fair Lawn and saw there was a Kosher Sushi place and were immediately excited. I have a sesame allergy so have to be careful since unfortunately many sushi stores throw sesame on everything.

Im not the typical sushi person, but visiting some friends in NJ and having everyone order I said lets give it sushi another try. Glad I did! The texture and text was incredibly amazing and flavorful! I enjoyed for first time some good sushi. Unfortunately they are only in NJ and we in Queens but definitely will be coming back when visiting NJ.

I have never been to this place in person up till last week yet have heard about it from friends & have gone to a few parties which they had served their catering & liked what I saw. So I finally went there for lunch right away the fellow who took my order(was the owner) very very friendly & accommodating. I was ordering lunch specials for our coworkers then I wanted some good new & interesting stuff yet was not sure so the owner took his time patiently & explained .In a nutshell it was bit costly yet their shushi was one of the best I ever had , very fresh & really tasty simply it hit the spot , all my coworker thought the same & its KOSHER as well .
