A Bite About Us In 2019 we opened our food truck with the goal of providing fresh cook to order foods. Aretha’s original recipes and Mozell (Mo) customer service combined to make Martin’s Chicken and Waffles what it is today. Can’t forget about the our outstanding manager that make things happen and the kiddos Jerel, Amaria, Chon, and Montez for working hard. We are a true family and veteran owned business. Since our opening, we’ve been able to expand our menu, turn visitors into loyal customers, and give back to the community via food drives, back pack give aways, and our Bless the Youth Christmas Gifting. It has definitely been a journey from a food truck, to Rivergate mall, to our current location in Gallatin Tennessee.

Visited this little place for lunch. Had a decent size menu with meat n veg options along with sandwiches and sides. I had their specialty chicken and waffles with the tenders Nashville hot style. It also proved to be the priciest on their menu. The tenders were good and fresh and are offered at only one heat level so beware if you arent too keen on spicy food. The waffle tasted fresh and was crisp and the syrup helped to take spme of the sting away and and sweetness to it all. It was slow the day we went but yet the service was just okay. It started off good but eventually had to wait and keep flagging someone down for a drink refill. In short I would go back to try something else on their menu lnkw that I know what to expect. Not a bad place at all but nothing to really rave about.

The food is awesome. As a truck driver, I rarely get away from truck stop choke and pukes, so this was a real treat. Met the owner/manager, very friendly staff. Got to get the Nashville hot waffle. Wouldn’t change anything about it. Have this gem of a restaurant marked for when I can stop by again.

Hands down best chicken n waffles, and if you can stand the heat I’d definitely recommend the Nashville hot! My husband is not a fish/seafood person at all but said he could eat the salmon patties every day.
