A Bite About Us In 2019 we opened our food truck with the goal of providing fresh cook to order foods. Aretha’s original recipes and Mozell (Mo) customer service combined to make Martin’s Chicken and Waffles what it is today. Can’t forget about the our outstanding manager that make things happen and the kiddos Jerel, Amaria, Chon, and Montez for working hard. We are a true family and veteran owned business. Since our opening, we’ve been able to expand our menu, turn visitors into loyal customers, and give back to the community via food drives, back pack give aways, and our Bless the Youth Christmas Gifting. It has definitely been a journey from a food truck, to Rivergate mall, to our current location in Gallatin Tennessee.

I brought a few out-of-town friends in for lunch today and we had an amazing experience! We got the Nashville hot chicken & waffles and a chicken sandwich. Both were incredible. The chicken was nice and crispy but still moist and flavorful. And their portions were filling too! Thanks so much for the lovely introduction of Nashville hot to my Texas friends.

We absolutely love Martin’s Chicken & Waffles! This family-owned restaurant is always so welcoming and friendly — you truly feel at home the moment you walk in. The smoked meatloaf is hands down the best I’ve ever had, and the deep-fried red velvet cake Oreos are completely to die for!

Great food. The service was great. So friendly and inviting. I enjoyed eating here, and will come again. I had the 6 wings meal with baked beans and mashed potatoes. It was DELICIOUS. The mashed potatoes are out of this world. The buffalo sauce is a little too spicy for me, but it was still . The waffles look and smell amazing. HIGHLY recommend coming here for some amazing food and prices.

I have eaten here a few times and it is one of my favorite restaurants in Sumner county. Their wings are phenomenal, and I think they have the best catfish in the area. You will not leave hungry or unsatisfied! Mo and Aretha put love and quality into their food and it shows!

This place is such a hidden gem, take the trip to Gallatin, TN, you will not be disappointed! This was my first experience with chicken and waffles, the moment the plate was sat in front of me I could smell the combination of cinnamon, powdered sugar and chicken, it smelled amazing! The waffles.. omg.. so fluffy and just the right amount of cinnamon. The chicken is portioned just right and with the syrup it compliments the waffle perfectly. The owners are absolutely delightful, we will definitely be back. FYI- that’s not the only flavor waffle they offer… ask for more information.

Met our friends from BethPage here for lunch. I ordered the chicken and waffles. Did not disappoint. Food was fresh, served hot and taste was right on. The waffle was perfect consistency for the chicken.

A very small restaurant that can pack in 48 people pretty tightly. Not tight at all when I visited but was busy. Our waitress had a blank face but smiled once. We got our food. I had the double fried burger with everything. Absolutely amazing!!!!!! I got it without the Nash Hot seasoning. I’m not a hot spicy fan. The flavor was FANTASTIC! The crinkle fries were perfect! I also had the privilege of having some of their cooked banana pudding. OMG delicious! By the time we left our waitress was smiling big and we had a great time. The cook came out to greet people and was awesome! I will definitely be back.
