Most of the Indian restaurants that I previously visited had good, bad and the ugly experiences with the food/ Staff/Ambiance. But on the other

I saw the reviews from earlier … most of them seemed like they were from several months ago… our meal was very different … and a positive experience. We ordered several items… They were all flavorful and delicious… However, I ordered one tandoori mixed item and we had no lamb on it – I asked about it they said it was not included … I didn’t press the issue. It’s only b/c of that I am giving them 4 stars. I give the food 5 stars. Hope this review is helpful.

It is a nice spot for Indian food in prime location. The exchange place boardwalk is just 2 blocks away. The ambience is very warm and welcoming and their servers are quite hospitable and friendly. The food was quite nice in terms of quality and taste although they could do better with the portion size of their entrees. Would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for good Indian food in the area.

Almost 23$ for a chicken biryani which is very mediocre. We find a RAT scurrying around in the dining area. We could barely eat anything after and rushed out duly paying the check. Service was good but I wouldn’t come back after my the experience.

Really yummy food with good ambiance. Highly recommend the Indo-Chinese, Curry and Tandoori options. Plenty of options for vegan/vegetarians as well. Super friendly staff who can accommodate your requests and recommendations. Good spot for private/corporate functions as well.

Visited again after about 3 years and the food was still good. Rice is provided complimentary with curry. We had naan, tomato basil soup, paneer tikka and more.

Solid and authentic. This place has an amazing lunch buffet that for the price is just perfect. The food is true to it’s roots from India. You can taste every spice in each dish. I would also have to say they have hands down the best Naan bread in JC. The selection changes slightly ever so often but the core dishes are the same and it’s amazing. The place is very clean and the staff are friendly but they understand stay out of the way unless a patron needs something. There is a nice vibe will good music but I must say the music has to be a new touch. I am probably going to be in there twice a month if they keep up the selection and service.

We had a party for about 40 people in Mantra. The space was clean and the food – all the starters, main course and desserts were fresh and very delicious. All our guests had a wonderful time and meal. The service was amazing, right from the planning to the execution. All the servers – Imtiaz, Praveen and Hema were very very helpful. The owner Senthil was around on the event day and ensured we had everything we needed.

I recently dined at this restaurant and enjoyed their buffet spread. The starters, Manchurian and paneer chilli, were flavorful and well-prepared. For non-vegetarian options, the butter chicken and mutton rassa were highlights. Among the vegetarian choices, paneer lababdar and bhendi masala stood out. The chole and maa ki daal were delicious, accompanied by rice and assorted Indian flatbreads. To end the meal, the moong daal ka halwa was a delightful sweet treat. However, the atmosphere was average and didn’t enhance the dining experience. Nevertheless, the diverse and tasty food options made up for it.
