I actually heard about this place from Guy Fieri on his show Diners drive-ins and Dives. And man, it doesn’t disappoint. Service was great, and the food had no business being that good from a “deli/bakery.” I had the French toast, and wow, u can totally tell that bread was like today fresh. And their hashbrowns were perfect, and they had a nice little bed of “crunch” on top with soft chewy potatoes under the hood. The kids menu is very generous, too, for those of u who have families like myself. It is definitely a local spot but, tourist are welcomed too. If you’re into deli diner food and are in the Coachella Valley, then treat yourself to this joint. u won’t regret it.

We usually go to Shermans Deli and I was so happy to have found this place. It’s a typical deli but with modern décor. I really enjoyed the color scheme although the deli area isn’t as busy as Shermans the food was very good. The prices are the same, the pastrami juicy, flavorful, the rye fresh and the fries super crispy, ask for ranch because I am sure they make that in house!

As you can see in the picture the sandwiches are huge. They were pretty good. The macaroni salad has a bit of balsamic so it was sweet. Not my favorite but still ok. I liked the potato salad better. Both were homemade though and that was evident. Our server was rude. When my husband’s food came to the table with items he’d asked to exclude, she argued with him. Then, as we left, she quipped a smart remark to by brother. He then asked for the manager. While my brother was explaining our experience with the server, she came up and argued with him as well. It was ridiculous.

Came here for lunch on a recommendation, and had a good meal with good service. I started with a bowl of their New England clam chowder. It was a heaping bowl that tasted very good. Only $4 up charge with my meal: Fish & Chips. The meal came with four pieces of Cod, steak fries, and coleslaw. The Cod was very good – lemon and malt vinegar to taste. The tartar sauce was the only part that I had found awful. No flavor other than mayonnaise. The fries were ok. I loved their coleslaw. It reminded me of the coleslaw my mother use to make. I wrapped the leftovers ‘To Go,’ and ordered a slice of the coconut cake. The slice is HUGE! It was very good, and I had to box the rest ‘To Go.’ With the meal, drinks, and dessert my tab after tax was a little more than $41. A good value for all that I had. If ever I’m passing through CA on I-10 again, I’ll take a detour to stop here again. The place reminded me of Omega Restaurant back in Niles, IL.

This wonderful place was next door to our wonderful hotel and I’m sad I didn’t find it earlier. Large sandwiches!! With pages and pages of menu items to choose from. I had the beef dip with brisket and it was soooo tender, coleslaw was good too. Not a fan of the fries but that’s a personal preference thing. Service was efficient and quick. $45 for 2 sandwiches, no drinks

First time in Manhattan, though not first time in Palm Springs. We’ve been coming to PS on a regular basis throughout the year, but never tried this place til this trip. Very expansive menu, everything was delicious, service was lovely. My husband had the turkey sandwich (Ortega turkey), which he loved, and I robbed a lot of the super crispy fries off his plate. I substituted the bread on my BLT with latkes for an upcharge. WOW, it was SO delicious!!! Highly recommend doing that! Nice plate of pickles w delicious saurkraut before our order came. Then we got florentines and macaroons (yummmmmy) from the case before we left. Seems very local. We will definitely be coming back and keep this in our restaurant rotation.
