They accommodated our large party of 12, half kids and half adults. Service was excellent, efficient and friendly. Food was high quality and delicious. The pasta was homemade. The variety of dishes and options was perfect as well. There was a cocktail on the online menu that was no longer available which was a disappointment however the substitute the server suggested was very good!

Simply delicious. I came with a large group. We all ordered different drinks and different entrees and Mambo was able to nail it for each order. Our server was incredibly friendly and we got a great seat right in front of the kitchen, allowing us to watch the food as it was being made. The pasta was made in house, allowing for amazing taste and texture. My group raved about Mambo all night long. This was a great experience for all of the senses.

We came here for dinner. Our server was supposed to be Shawn but he forgot about us. We waited for 14 minutes before I asked one of the servers to have our server come to our table. She mentioned Shawn was our server but he was nowhere to be found so she served us. We shared a pizza and chicken parmigiano. The Montaliano pizza was great. My partner thought the Italian sausage was too spicy but I thought it was very good. The chicken parmigiano was a decent size and the flavour was good. It was $32 for the dish which was a bit high for me. I really liked the seating from the pizza bar – it was nice watching the cooking staff prepare some of the dishes.

We have eaten here twice now. Stay away! The first time the host said they were too busy and didn’t have enough staff to seat us even though the restaurant was open for another hour and a half and only had a few tables at the time. We eventually convinced them to seat us, but the food and service were not good. More recently, we ordered a pizza for takeout. The fig and prosciutto pizza had no figs (not a single one), but was so drenched in balsamic that it was pooled up in the box and poured out onto my car interior, resulting in a $240 detailing bill. Tried to reach out to them via their website and phone, got no response from anyone.

A great Italian restaurant. Staff was so friendly and happy hour had half off pizzas. The chicken parm was also phenomenal. Would highly recommend grabbing dinner here one night

Mambo came up on a quick dinner search in Steamboat Springs. We were visiting the area the week before Christmas with a group of 9, and were able to easily make a reservation for our group about one week in advance. Upon a quick glance of the menu, you can tell that Mambo is an italian restaurant, so you can expect a variety of pastas and pizzas. The ambiance of Mambo was perfect for a birthday celebration. I would say you are safe in casual dress attire, but I would suggest this is more of a special occasion dining option. Prices reflect the ambiance, and I would say are fair based on the location and quality. Our large group arrived at our reservation a bit early, so we chose to hang out at the bar while waiting. The bar area is small, and patrons are able to both eat and drink at the bar. When our table was ready, we couldn’t transfer our drink tab to our dining tab, so it was a minor inconvenience to have to close our bar tab before moving to our table. The dining space is space in general, so tables are fairly close together. To start our meal, we ordered the house bread and calamari fritti. These in my opinion are definite musts when dining at Mambo. I will also note that you can order gluten free options, and modify some of the menu items to your specifications. A nice thing to be able to do at an Italian restaurant. Some of the entrees ordered included: spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmigiano, fettuccine alfredo, and the principessa pizza. All the entrees were served with a generous portion size. A note on the large pizza, it is enough to feed 3-5 people. As someone that enjoys a well made pizza, I would avert from ordering pizza here. It just wasn’t cooked enough for my liking, the dough/crust seemed hardly cooked and the toppings were cool upon first bite. I would say the pizza is cooked in a very artisan-style. Overall, our group had a very pleasant and enjoyable experience dining at Mambo. I would recommend dining here to others especially if you’re looking for an Italian dinner.

Emily runs a fun bar. The drinks were good. We had great service and tried some of the most delicious Italian food I’ve ever had. The Mushroom Toast was so flavorful and spice warm. The heat really hangs on. The Fettuccine Alfredo was delicious and the Butternut Squash Agnolotti will change you. Get it with the pancetta and the peas. I promise. The butterscotch dessert rewrote my schema for Italian desserts.

Mambo was excellent, everything we ordered was amazing and even with crowds our food did not take very long. Would highly suggest making a reservation a week in advance during ski season because it is very popular. A bit on the pricey side but worth it.

Excellent food! The fried artichoke had so many complimentary flavors, it was my favorite. If you order the baked brownie (I forget the name of the dish), share it with someone! We could not finish, but the sizzling caramel on a hot skillet was heavenly. Really cool idea to have fresh pizza dough for kids to play with as they wait for food. I would have loved that over coloring any day.
