The pork belly platter and crispy teriyaki were delicious and full of wonderful flavors . The crispy teriyaki was fried to perfection and not sugary sweet at all, with tender meat inside. We really enjoyed it here!

Yakisoba with beef was phenomenal. Definitely going to try the Hmong Sausage next time.

Went there during the $5.00 lunch pho. There was only 2 staff in the restaurant. The cashier/waitress and the cook. Staff was friendly place was clean. The menu is a huge wallpaper on the wall and you pay before you receive your food. It was really weird because the bean sprouts, jalapeño pepper, and basil were all in a self serve area where you had to go get. The pho broth was very dark (not to my liking) and tasted to sweet. The $5.00 lunch pho size is very small and most likely will not fill you up if you only ordered one. Ordered the beef Yakisoba and it was very disappointing. The noodles tasted like ramen noodle that was mixed with tons of soy sause and oyster sauce. It was too sweet to enjoy. Ordered 2 eggrolls which came out very hot and fresh. The eggrolls tasted decent and will fill your belly. Total bill was roughly $25 plus change. Overall experience was weird because I was unsure if I had to clean my own table because the back of restaurant were tubs labeled for where the used dishes, plates, and silverware would go. I ended up cleaning my own table (felt weird). Would not be going back. I would give the bowl of pho ranking from 1 being the worst and 10 being the best. The pho I give a 5.

Food here is okay. I think quality can be better. We ordered a Pad Thai dish and it was way too oily, also lacking that traditional Pad Thai flavor as well. The House Pho was okay, along with the eggrolls. The only thing in my opinion that tasted good was the Papaya Salad.

Visited from out of town and stopped for a quick bite. A casual sit-down place where you order at the counter and the food gets delivered to your table. Customers clean and discard their own garbage as needed. The customer service was friendly.

We ordered the Pork Belly, Hmong Sausage, Papaya, Mamma Special Pho, Thai Basil Fried Rice, along with two Naabvam.

Overall, the food is acceptable. The pork belly was tender but a little bit salty. Next time I will remember to ask for it to be a little crispier. The Hmong Sausage is the usual ones you get from the Oriental Market that is pretty good. The sticky rice does not appear “made to order” but it was acceptable. The Pho was also a little bit on the salty side, but good. Lastly, the Thai Basil Fried Rice was a lot lighter than the picture menu made it seem.

Overall, when I am in town, I would return to support this restaurant. They have a perfect balance of food selection and menu size. Spent a whopping $71 approximately for what is described here, which I think is very high.

A can’t miss spot for pho! Be sure to stop by for lunch as they have $5 bowls. We had a variety of spice levels, and all of them were very good. The chicken pat thai was seasoned well and packed with flavor. The service was fast and accurate. I’ll definitely be back here again!

I really wanted this to be my favorite restaurant, but left slightly disappointed. On one hand, my Signature Pho wasn’t the greatest but it was quite pricey so maybe my expectations were too high. I personally have had better Pho offerings at other places. On the other hand, the service was super friendly and the restaurant was quite clean (and very “covid friendly”). Along with that, their Korean Fried Chicken was incredible, and even the half order was a huge portion. I definitely would come back, but to try other items besides the Pho.

UPDATE: I have returned to my initial Mama’s Noodle Bar review and I’m now giving the food 5/5. Not sure if they changed recipes, but I can assure you that the Mama’s Signature broth is consistently packed with flavor and spice that you don’t want to miss out on. Definitely stop by for their $7 lunch special from 11-2! Though I’m sad to say that they no longer serve the Korean fried chicken 🙁

I ordered take out pho and realized that they skimp out on the portions. They put less noodles and broth. This place used to be good on portions but now it seems like with the new owners, they are skimping out. You get less for what you pay for. For the pho, you used to get two BEEF BONES. Now they only give you one beef bone and a skimpy piece of slice meat. Just one tiny piece.

Do not order takeout since they can get away with skimping

Pretty good food and great service. My husband has had the bulgogi and likes it, but didn’t think it was as good as he had in Korea. Also liked the BBQ buns and crab rangoons. I had the vegetable pho which was not overly complex but did have good flavor. Everything has great portions. I do recommend extra sauce with the spring rolls.
