These chips and salsa are AMAZING. The chips are so crispy and perfect. I’d love a little more , but that’s just me. So good.
Overall, I feel like it was kind of spendy, and maybe the value wasn’t totally there, but it was tasty and really scratched my Mexican food itch. I’m excited for September when they’re starting a lunch buffet, including on the weekends!
They serve a great fresh lime squeeze Margarita felt very authentic, every sip remained me my Dad’s Margaritas ( from Acapulco, Mexico ). The shrimp tacos with the bell peppers were amazing.
Señor Eddie is a great host and made us feel like old time friends!!
We will definitely be back!
We’re visiting the area from south Florida and get lost while coming out of downtown. We came across La Cucaracha Restaurant by chance. We were not even looking to eat yet, but our daughter said she wanted Mexican and wala, there was La Cucaracha Restaurant
The owner, Eddie, was very attentive and friendly. Definitely a place we would visit again, and again and again, when we’re here visiting family and friends.
Try their flan. It’s delicious. The burrito was superb and the beef family? Full of good flavors.
Thanks Eddie for your great hospitality and service.
Ole Mole is a favorite and the enchiladas are also delicious. Parking on the street or there are about 8 spaces around back if you can find one.
Drinks a bit steep, boxed wine is your option for a glass, otherwise it’s sangria or you’re buying a bottle. I do find the fried chicken an interesting menu item, may try that if we go back.
