I absolutely love this place! I’m from Santa Fe, NM and the food here tops the restaurants there hands down! I am often disappointed when eating Mexican food in Minnesota but every time I’ve been here the food is absolutely amazing! I do wish they had more traditional desserts. The drinks are also great!

My new favorite Mexican restaurant! The food and drinks were splendid! The beef was so fantastic, I had a dream about it. The manager was friendly and talked with us throughout our meal. I can’t wait to go back!

Stopped in for dinner with a friend. I had the giant burrito, it tasted like a enchilada without the sauce. Very surprising. Not what I was expecting. My companion had the fajita. That was wonderful. I am ordering that next time.

The chips and salsa were great. We also added the queso. Which cost $22. $5 per basket of chips $11 for queso. Great but not worth $22

Their homemade chips are greasy and when you bite into them, they had a bite and a crunch that felt stale. Their Mombo 34 oz margarita was WATERED down with ice and their chimichanga was BLAND. This visit was my first and last. But the service and people were AMAZING!

My favorite restaurant for Mexican food. Have eaten there for over 30 years. This is a true review. There are other great Mexican restaurants in the St Paul area but you have to try La Cucaracha. Dale and Grand Ave.

Real Mexican dishes. The finest quality you could ever imagine. The gentleman named Eddie that works there is so passionate. This is a go-to place

This is a great local restaurant with a friendly fast staff. The food is good quality but not too spicey. I like very hot food and this is not what I would call hot but probably good for most people. The happy hour drink prices were amazing and they have discounted appetizers.

This is a really good spot if you want basic Americanized Mexican food and drinks — which, let’s face it, we all wanna do once in a while. Food itself is fine by that standard, margaritas are not great — mine tasted very watery and was garnished with a couple peanuts? Kids menu is on point, and they have tap beer and full bar. Space is cozy and service is friendly. Would watch a game here or do a happy hour with old friends. Students — bring your small town parents here, nothing here will freak them out.
