One of my favorite restaurants. Always good. We got shrimp spring rolls, beef pho, and steak and brisket pho. $33 for the two of us. The interior has cute little paintings and puns on the wall. Service is good. 10/10 definitely recommend.

We are pretty new to Vietnamese food and this was a great introduction. We had two large Pho Barr bowls – one beef/brisket and one tofu/veggie. Great quality food, exceptionally fresh, well presented. The dine-in space is very clean and provides for a pleasant dining experience.

I went to this place a few years ago and loved it. However, we recently arrived shortly after opening on a Friday, ordered a few sandwiches and an appetizer to go, and had to wait for an hour for the food to be prepared. Service was virtually nonexistent as we waited, and totally unapologetic bordering on insolent when the food was finally ready. Sandwiches were poor compared to previous visits- cold, very little meat. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place, which is a shame because it used to be a quality option.

Great new addition to the area. Their summer rolls are delicious as is there papaya salad. Pho was enough to split for two. A must try for locals. An added feature for historic and, they put historical pictures of Winsted’s big flood on all the walls. Defiantly worth going in.

So good! The papaya salad was delicious and I loved the bahn mi. My boyfriend got the seafood pho and loved it. The order was ready in 15 minutes.

Had an excellent dinner here. Good pork filled crepe, great spring rolls. Didn’t like the steamed pork buns. The wine was a little pricey but good. Pho was good. Nice broth

Really wanted to like this place. I’m from out of town and won’t get back to try it again but I came for the Soup broth and was disappointed. I had to ask if it was vegetable broth or beef broth in their beef soup because it was so weak and needed so much salt. And by the time you put the fresh bean sprouts in it was practically cold. The beef rolls were good but the coconut cake had sec sliced in the cooler so long it was stale on the outside. Now I understand them being out of some things because it was late on a Sunday night. They really need to work on their broth.

I ordered shrimp pho, shrimp spring rolls and grilled pork spring rolls. Oh my goodness! I did a little food dance for how fresh and delicious my meal was. I have a wheat intolerance and usually eat Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese because the food is rice based. Also because I love it. I’ve been to MANY restaurants in the Northwest CT and Great Barrington area and Mama Pho is my new favorite, so happy I have a new go to!

Visited February 6, 2019 for lunch. Do not judge by the outside! Go inside and take a look for yourself! Great food, quick service, reasonable prices and the open beam decor was very cozy. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed. I will definitely return to try more from the menu. Yes, there’s more than soup on the menu. Another good restaurant for Winsted that’s not the typical “fast food” joint. Nicely done.
