It wouldn’t let me comment w/o giving a star, sat 3:00pm oct 1st 2022, traveling from Tenn back to Michigan, looking up quick good food that sounded like home, I read the reviews, saw how some got duped by the open but not open, i thought, with all those comments they surely wouldn’t let that happen again. Wrong! The 4 of us Went out of our way instead of hitting a fast food off the prior exits to find they are closed! Open sign in window says open, said open on web too, they must not need that many customers or new customers, with this experience, I realized why my customers really appreciate me back In Michigan, I would never be so flighty

As a native Detroiter, I absolutely love this place. My biggest issue is, they are NEVER open. Even during their posted business hours. You can’t get anyone to answer the phones. Food is great, but it’s impossible to get in contact with anyone. Extremely frustrating.

I leave this review sitting in the parking lot currently where the door was locked and no one answered the phone. I just watched four people walk out carrying food. I read a review below where they took someone’s Door Dash order then didn’t make it, so I feel like I dodged a bullet here.

1st time eating there but me and my wife stood alone in the lobby 5 to 10 minutes before we ever saw an employee. We was about to leave when an employee came in from the parking lot same employee passed us going out to the lot as we was coming in. My sandwich the meat was really good but bun was so soggy I fed it to my dog. My wife ordered a chilli cheese dog but when we got home it was a plain hotdog on a bun. Completely disappointed in this experience and will not Risk it again. Epic fail

Food was great. Good service. Place was clean. Cozy environment. I ordered chicken philly and wing dings. Both delicious and well seasoned. And my bread was soft . Most phillys bread I’ve tried were too tough but this ones perfect with a buttery crunch! I would come again. Hands Down

Look, I went here because I loved the old Detroit coney island. Well I was very pleased with the amount of food that I got for the money. I orded the cheese steak of course it was huge and absolutely delicious, the cheese fries were amazing as well. Keep up the good work Mama Dee’s. Food that good I would expect a waiting list.

Overpriced . Or maybe the girl working just overcharged. As their menu states upgrade any item to a meal with fries and drinks for $3. A dbl cheeseburger, chili cheese fries and can of pepsi was nearly $14. A chicken phili, SUPER cold undercooked cheese fries, 2 hotdogs incorrectly made and a koolaid was $17. Was so hoping for a great little place, instead highly disappointed and waste of over $30!

Ordered a corn beef sandwich and chili cheese fries my bread was so soggy I was honestly scared to eat it paid $14 only to throw it all away . Bad customer service when questioning about answering phones , however, the owner was respectful when talking to him . When I made it home to eat my food very disappointed and will never return or recommend anyone else to be served the way I was .
