I had seen reviews all over town, so maybe my expectations were too high. I thought the buffet was average but was also there as they were changing from breakfast to lunch for sunday brunch. The fried chicken was fantastic, but that was really the best. People I was with had sandwiches and said they were good. I think the price of the sunday brunch was a little high since there were no breakfast options for it when I went through. I will say the service staff were friendly and attentive. I like the fact that they grow the items they make. That is a highlight.

Magnolia was ok turkey wings was salty made it hard to enjoy. Rice and beans was good. Potatoe salad was a Nono but they tried devil eggs the pot roast was good. My family had other items but they did not finish their food neither. Oh and their chicken salad was a plus Dessert was a go. I guess it all depends on what you order. Will I go back again it all depends. Will I recommend it. It’s a place you have to decide on your own the best things is they serve you so you can’t play over the food which is a plus plus

The food was great and those serving the food did great. We had a “free” breakfast here each morning as part of our vacation package and each morning some of us ordered coffee and orange juice (the juice was more like a shot of juice and not a regular size drink) and the 4 kids in our group ordered chocolate milk all week and received a regular size cup with a proper lid to fit a straw. Our last day we had a “Karen” as our waitress and wouldn’t give us coffee and juice. We could only pick one and my husband got a juice and it was still the “shot glass” size! The kid’s’ chocolate milk came in a very small to go coffee cup with a coffee cup lid that didn’t have a place for a straw. My daughter spilled her’s while trying to open it to drink. When I asked for a refill for my son she (Tracey) said she would have to charge us. When I mentioned what we had received all week instead, she said, “That’s our policy. The other servers should have given you what I gave you. They just want a better tip. I’d rather sleep at night knowing I did the right thing and be broke.” When I mentioned that maybe the right thing would be to serve us what we had been given all week and punish the other servers and not the customers, she got the manager. I nicely explained everything to the manager including how my daughter spilled her drink in the non-kid friendly cup, the manager said the same thing the waitress did except she was more condescending. Zero customer service. I can see if we had been given the incorrect sized once and they apologized and explained the policy. I wouldn’t have made a fuss. But the attitude from the waitress AND the manager just flew all over me. We actually heard the waitress, Tracey, the morning before speaking very loud to a bus boy, complaining about all kinds of things about the other staff. We even said to one another how unprofessional that was. Just our luck, we had her as our waitress this morning. We ended up giving her what she wanted. She’d rather go to bed broke than to get a big tip for, what is basically good customer service in our case. No tip. And we are usually very good tippers even with not so great service.

First, Magnolia’s serves food cafeteria style. Meaning you don’t touch anything, they make your plate. I’ve realized I don’t like it. I understand it, but still it’s just me! Food was fresh. The buffet isn’t expensive at all. Drinks plus lunch buffet was $40.00. would I go back? Probably!

A little better than a hotel breakfast. Not bad, $16 for breakfast buffet and coffee.

Order the “crab cakes” appetizer and got ONE cake that wasn’t cooked all the way. The salad my daughter got was good. The lasagna from the buffet was good, according to my brother.

Decent place if you’re staying in the area for breakfast or brunch. It’s a buffet, but cafeteria style, meaning they put what you want on your plate for you. There was a wait in the morning to get breakfast, took around 20 minutes, it’s a smaller restaurant but was very convenient.

This is a great place for breakfast, it’s clean, and you get through pretty fast. I have a gluten allergy and I really wasn’t triggered by any of the obvious choices. It was clean as well. Definitely stop by.
