This is a fantastic little hidden gem of a restaurant. The dim sum was absolutely delicious. They will also customize the spice level of their dishes to your comfort level. The soup buns and molten lava buns were amazing. The custard buns were also very good. They also have homemade milk tea using their freshly brewed tea. The hot tea was a blend of oolong and jasmine tea. The tapioca boba was very soft and not hard at all. The steamed rice was very fluffy and mixed into the entrees well. The restaurant looks old from the outside but was very clean inside. Restrooms were definitely old but clean. Crab rangoon were very good. They were very light and not over-fried, not greasy either. We drove over 2 hours and will be coming back soon! If we lived closer, we would definitely eat here weekly!

The only place to eat authentic Chinese food in the TRI hands down. Magic Wok is always friendly, always accommodating, and always delicious. We have “family style” dinner there with a huge group of friends and always leaving with a full stomach. Every server and the owner always treat each and everyone one of us like we’re family. With a an extensive menu of both traditional/american chinese food, you can never go wrong with what you decide to eat! 5 stars in my book coming from a Long Island New York Asian/American surfer. My family and I came here for Chinese New Year and it was an incredible experience! They had an entire set of special menu items just for the day. The food was incredible and the most authentic I’ve ever had! Our servers, Eloise & Marina, were so amazing, kind, and proficient. This is certainly a hidden gem in the area, and a must go to place! Just make sure to make a reservation in advance if you plan to come for the next Chinese New Year. This is by far mine and my families favorite restaurant in the area!

This is one of my favorite restaurants! We eat here pretty regularly (including dine in and carry out) and always try to make it for their special Chinese New Year dinner. It’s always amazing and this year was no exception! They have a special menu for New Year including lamb and other dishes not on the regular menu. We had a group and everyone loved it, including some first timers who plan to go back! Thanks to our servers Marina and Eloise and everyone else for making the dinner so delicious and fun!

We had such a great experience at Magic Wok! The restaurant is very clean and has plenty of seating. Marina was our server and she was able to explain the menu items and made sure we had everything we needed — sauces, refills, extra napkins. She even took the time to give us some recommendations for next time, and we really appreciated that. She was awesome! The food itself was phenomenal. I ordered wonton soup, Shanghai-style mini soup dumplings, and the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice, and each item was an 11/10. My fiancé ordered the dry-fried pork intestines In Szechuan sauce from the authentic Chinese menu, and he said it was fantastic. We’ve eaten at most of the Chinese places in the Tri-Cities, and Magic Wok is our new favorite!

The food, in the simplest way I can describe it, was mediocre. Though just barely mediocre enough. Ordering the chicken with broccoli, I come to find that there was no soy sauce on it. I understand a different recipe and such or the vegetarian option, but it could be better if they had made that clear over the phone when I had ordered. They should offer that option in my opinion since many people (that I’ve seen leaving reviews) felt that they didn’t get what they wanted since most restaurants put soy sauce on it. Being unclear of that makes people react negatively.
I also had the fried rice, there was only egg in it, which is fine, but there were clusters of regular white rice in it, alongside big pieces of egg (refer to picture one,) not necessarily fantastic.
The fried chicken was a bit salty, skin and inside.
But the lo mein? It was slimy, leaving an aftertaste similar to mayonnaise (I’m not entirely sure how that happens) I’ve already read how the recipe is different, different noodles and whatnot, but that isn’t an excuse for the noodles to be so gummy and slimy like that.
