Long-running stop for homestyle Italian dishes & an extensive wine list in a warm, cozy setting.

Had lunch with family there. Very traditional dishes and classic decor not fancy but setting a relaxing atmosphere. We ordered raw beef and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers to share with the table. For main entry veal mushrooms risotto and two pasta dishes. Lunch menu is smaller but all items on dinner menu could be ordered too. We also ordered a tiramisu dessert. Very satisfying and delicious. We will be back. If I have to criticize one thing the risotto plating is so ugly. Almost like at home I have to feed my rebellious kid after a big fight, I would just dig out the rice and throw the stuff to a plate and give it to him to show how upset I am. The taste is good with love, hahaha.

This is one of the better Italian restaraunts in Burlingame. Dinner is always good here. It’s a smallish place that can get very busy on a Friday night so reservations are recommended. I was impressed by the clam chowder special and was very happy ordering the caesar.

My wife and I were in town for the holidays and chanced upon Cafe Figaro. We had the lasagne and house pappardelle; both excellent. The star of our experience, however, was atmosphere & ambience. Will, from the owners family, seemed to know everyone who came through the door and we immediately were made to feel like we’re regulars. His dad and sister were having dinner that night and greeted us on the way out. The place was packed but service never lagged and I could always get Will’s attention with just a glance. It was the essence of a great family owned neighborhood restaurant; one we both wished we lived near.

Wow wow wow….what great food. We had the drunken pasta with meat sauce, the meatball appetizers, eggplant, skirt steak duck special, tirmasu dessert (Best ever!), and raspberry torte. The owner and his staff gave a high level of service
Everything was delicious. We will definitely return.

Chicken Parmesan and eggplant Parmesan were a solid good… The sauce seem to be a bit bland. The spinach salad was very good. The wine was great. The service was terrific.

This is hard to sume up in short. I regularly dine at restaurants. Cafe Figaro stands out as the combination of welcoming service, spectacular food, and incredible ambiance offered provides entertainment beyond standard expectations. Cafe Figaro gets an A+++. They made our evening. My wife and I are so pleased with Cafe Figaro, all around that we plan to visit more often. This is a rare occasion for my rating. However, if I had the option of giving Cafe Figaro more than five stars, I would without hesitation. I have only positive comments and highly recommend Cafe Figaro.

Cafe Figaro is an outstanding Italian restaurant. The homemade pasta is truly exceptional—fresh, rich, and perfectly cooked—and the extensive wine list is thoughtfully curated with great options for every palate. The Owner Will take pride and care in every detail, from the food to the warm, welcoming service. A true neighborhood gem and a must-visit.

They accept reservations and the wait time for walk-ins varies. On Sunday evening, I waited for 30 minutes. They offer fantastic pasta and desserts. The clam chowder soup was a bit cold, but the taste was good. The pasta and cheesecake were amazing. The hosts are very welcoming.

Such a nice cozy restaurant. The staff were super attentive and friendly. They have nice warm bread and a very tasty balsamic oil dip that they serve you once you get seated. They also know alot of their patrons by first name when I was there, which means loyal customers and I can see why.

The service was incredible tonight. The filet was cooked perfect, and the pastas were very nice. Probably the best and most thoughtful wine selection of any restaurant I’ve been to in a while. I’m looking forward to returning.
