Cute little shop downtown. Our first time trying it and my son really enjoyed his food plus he said the macaroons were great as well. It was nice and quiet when we first arrived then more people showed up and it got pretty busy. It took a little while to get our food but not too long.

The coffee was great as was the creme brulee. Quick and efficient service. They didn’t care that we were there for almost three hours… The lady behind the counter picked up very quickly that we were both widows… One older and one very new. They were very gracious. And the space is beautiful!!

I was trying to be nice but it’s a no. Firstly, my order was wrong. I ordered oatmeal cookies but got uncooked chocolate chip/macadamia /oreo cookies instead. At first, I thought they were just soft baked but no. They’re simply uncooked and upset my stomach. I also got a cheesecake, which just tasted like butter. $18 dollars down the drain, never again.

Budget friendly French experience at it’s best in a very inviting cafe atmosphere. Right by downtown, close to the river, lovely spot for a leisurely afternoon tea (provided you have enough quarters to feed the parking meters!). The creme brulee had a confusing texture – missing a French vanilla flavor with a texture mimicking a pudding than a custard. The French onion soup could have used actual caramelized onion based deeply flavored broth, and proper baguette instead of pieces of bread that looked like croutons from a bag. The crepes were excellent – lightly seasoned and beautifully presented.

We ordered croque madame, lemon cheesecake, and a fruit tart. The croque madame was pretty good but nothing impressive. I feel like I was expecting more but still delicious. The lemon cheesecake didn’t seem too be a cheesecake more of a fluffed whip cream with lemon flavor. It was okay. The fruit tart I believe was a miscommunication I pointed to something in the bake goods display but got a tart with whipped cream and strawberries. I wish I liked it more. :/

Was sorry we couldn’t put a better rating on the cute french bakery, but the only worker there didnt know what the pasteries were. She tried calling someone, but when she couldn’t, got a fork herself & took a bite. She tasted & still didnt know what it was. (She had told us it was lemon, but it had a red gel) We bought two but should have bothered. The tart crust was uneven & way under baked & the filling was a thick juice with no true flavor. Think kool-aid cranberry/strawberry?

We got a slice of the strawberry and Oreo cheesecake.. it was not good! It tasted freezer burnt. It was just gross. My daughter had vanilla macaroons and she said they were okay. I won’t be back. Definitely wasn’t worth the price.

So charming. The French vibe right down to the music is a win! There is an extensive menu. We enjoyed sweet and savory crepes as well as pastries. The crepe themselves were not a 5/5, but the fillings, decor, service, and cleanliness definitely were!

I got a small group of friends together to see a 7:00 show at the Roxy last night. Our plan was to eat here and try it for the first time. We were all excited! Restaurant hours are posted as open till 7. So we all got there a little before 6 and the girl said that the owner just called and told her to close early at 6. We had to scramble and find somewhere else to eat before the show. My advice is, if you want to go for dinner, call first to make sure. It really put a damper on our evening.
