It was quite crowded when we went. The cashier didn’t tell us when drinks would be coming out, so I wasn’t sure if I should ask for it at the counter or wait after being seated. That confusion is why I’m knocking off a star, along with somewhat pricey entrees. It’s good food, though. My chipotle chicken sandwich had to be eaten with a fork and knife because the sauce made the bread soggy and hard to hold. The flavors were incredible, and the ingredients are definitely fresh. My caramel leche looked better than it tasted. Altogether, the experience was okay. I’ve come by this bake shop quite a few times over the years and it’s been fine for the most part.

I waited for about 20 minutes for my hot plate of food. My family finished their baked goods before I started eating. I asked if I could have a complimentary refill on my iced coffee (which had a lot of ice in it) and was sternly told no refills. We still had a nice time despite it all because the location is good, the food was good, and the weather was great. Kudos for the outdoor dining. But how about going above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention. Iced coffee is cheap and that gesture would have made me consider coming back. Even a kind “no but I’m very sorry for your wait” would have been nice. I understand all of the negative reviews and the overall 3.9 rating. Hope they turn it around.

Got an oatmilk matcha latte. I got here a bit before opening but was kindly let in. The latte was a bit too sweet for me but was still tasty. If you’re like me and don’t love things overly sweet try asking for less or no sugar I think they wouldn’t mind considering the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely coming back though to try the coffee.

Don’t show up to this place without knowing everything about it first.

Had a really good cortado. More comparable to a Cappuccino because of size. I think it was 7 or 8 oz. But very well made by skilled barista. Drip coffee is fantastic as well.

After an hour wait… AN HOUR & 12 mins to be exact!! 30 mins to order with only 5 in front??? My order is wrong! WRONG! I specifically asked for fries and got cold unseasoned pesto pasta. The bakery is so awesome. The latte & drink bar is the star! Food & customer service are horrible! Please hire a line manager for the cooks, training for the wait staff, and a restaurant manager!

I ordered the avocado toast and my wife had the goat cheese salad. The salad was delicious except for the grilled onion which was bland and slimy. The avocado toast was a complete mess. It was served over cheap sandwich bread which couldn’t hold up the weight of the avocado. The avocado was fine. Not great, just fine. They topped it with a perfectly fine egg and topped that with 10 tons of arugula. There was so much arugula on my plate I thought they served me the salad by mistake. I would expect a brunch place to know that the avocado and egg go on top, not the garnish. The dessert was delicious and well worth the money but I would stay away from the avocado toast at the very least.

I ordered the 6 inch tiramisu for my boyfriend’s birthday since that is his favorite dessert. It was delicious, and definitely did not disappoint! Thank you Mad Hatter!
