I wish I could give a millon stars. The restaurant is beautiful inside. My husband and I have dietary restrictions: vegetarian and allergies to tomato, corn and soy. The staff made sure the food we ate was within our restrictions. My husband had the flat iron steak with green beans and scalloped potatoes. He said the meat was juicy, tender and seasoned perfectly. He isn’t a fan of scalloped potatoes, but said these were full of flavor and so creamy. I had the lentil curry. Just thinking about it warms my soul and makes my mouth water. It was the perfect blend of spices. The veggies and lentils were perfectly cooked. The potatoes were so buttery. The rice was PERFECT!

Mackinaw’s is AMAZING. The food is expensive, and at first I debated if the meal would be worth it. I got the steak and potatoes. My girlfriend got the chicken ravioli. The steak was great. The potatoes blew me away. The ravioli was sweet with apples and was spectacular. For dessert they made a fresh berry cobbler. This was some of the best food I’ve ever had.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Mackinaws! We’re locals, Mackinaws is our “Go To” for a special night out. Food is home made/uniquely created, flat iron is seriously the best steak I have ever ate. Scalloped potatoes are to DIE for. Staff is always friendly. The lavender creme brule is my favorite!

We went with friends to celebrate my birthday. The food was the best I have ever had bar none. Steak was tender and done to perfection. My wife’s had the ham and it was fork tender and just melted on your mouth. Now I understand why it is so crowded!!

Very very delicious food! Worth the wait, make sure you try to get there at the beginning of the hours open. We had no issues with food running out but I heard a few people mention the steak goes very quick.
