This is classic small town Midwestern America diner. From the advertisements on the cups to the huge pork tenderloin, to the home cooked comfort food, this is a place where locals come to share food and fellowship. The service is quick and friendly. Parking is a little tricky, but if you scope out the block around it, you will be fine. Also grab a table whenever you can as they are first-come-first-serve and become scarce around peak times.

A cool, old school diner with super friendly waitresses. Unfortunately, the food was not as impressive. My breakfast sandwich was miniscule. The bacon and toast was good but the cheese was waxy and flavorless. Just that and a small coffee got me too an astronomical $8.55. Definitely not worth it.

Had a large juicy tenderloin. The meat was very tender, no tough bits in it. The breading was on the plain side only adding extra texture to it but lacking on enhancing the overall flavor. Staff was friendly and the area was clean.

Absolutely the best place for breakfast I love it ,biscuits and gravy and hash brown delicious! It’s a nice place,I like all the farmers and the community is sitting in this little cafe. It’s just so nostalgic, I love listening to the older folks and they close at 2:00 but you really need to go, have excellent food no matter what you get.

We had a great breakfast. It got busy after we got there, but most people didn’t wait longer than 15 minutes to be seated. Home-cooked breakfast, portion sizes are large. Waitress was super kind. Kept the coffee flowing. Highly recommend taking the extra 5 minutes off of 70 to stop, if you aren’t traveling right past it.

Food was fantastic and wait staff was right on time! Prices were very reasonable. The seating is at a premium but much of that is a testimony to the family feel of this place and the great food! Highly recommend!! Great starting place to get fueled up before shopping at charming Cambridge City!

We took our daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter to Lumpys last weekend. This is the third time we have visited. We did not have a very good time. We moved nearby about 6 months ago and were told by people to go there. Good word of mouth advertising.

Good food and service. Coffee refilled timely manner. Had country fried steak breakfast and got biscuit and gravy on the side. Wife got potbelly breakfast. Everything was good liked they had good syrup for pan cakes.
