Quality food and great service. An American style family restaurant in a modern, clean space. Many good things but love the Reuben and nachos, and they even hand bread their chicken tenders. Large portions, good prices. Outside seating and also dog friendly. Beer, wine, full bar. They have a bar next to it as well, haven’t been.

First time going. We’re from out of town thinking of buying a weekend place. Had the whole family and we all ordered different things. Everything was freshly made and delicious. Portion sizes are generous. I’m so glad this small town has such a great restaurant.

Great find! We stopped for a quick bite while passing through, and it happened to be Friday night live music. A really good band, I wish we could have stayed for a few hours. Food and service excellent. Will divert down rt. 29 whenever we can to pay another visit.

Had a great meal. A great place to stop for a meal if you are traveling with your dog. My Jack Russell, Tucker, loved it too.

Passing through this town, we stopped here as it was dog friendly. We sat in a pleasant shaded courtyard. There was some renovations going on both inside and out. The food was good and they cooked a chicken breast for our dog. A decent selection of local beers. Service was friendly.

Stopped here while passing through the area on Rt. 29. Pleasantly surprised at how good it was! Seated immediately, very friendly staff, and tasty food. Everything arrived fast and hot. Our group tried the fried pickled, deviled eggs, corn fritters, club, brisket sandwich, and burger. All was delicious, especially the corn fritters! Definitely recommend trying those. Coffee was made fresh and kept topped off the whole time. They make you feel like you’re at home here. Carrot cake was a hit as well!

We had a horrible Reuben. The beef was full of gristle, fat and sinews. It was inedible, I wouldn’t feed that to my dog. The collard greens were insipid and tasted like they came straight out of a can. The Portobello burger was not one solid piece but rather sliced mushroom pieces. The French fries were totally undercooked, like they barely saw the oil fryer. The waitress finally offered a drink refill when she brought the check. The quality of the food is very poor overall.

We came here for a bite after doing the shenandoah park. I read that they have the “best rubens” on here, and that was a LIE. The corned beef is too chewy to be on a sandwich. They should learn to cook it longer to get the desired result. We waited more than 45 minutes for our food and only got it because we stood up to leave. There was no one in the restaurant, so I can’t imagine what it is like when it is packed. The server was really nice.

The food was very good. I loved the fried pineapple and had a Reuben sandwich. Extremely yummy and everyone was so very kind.

Excellent crab cakes for being far from Maryland and the Chesapeake, very tasty special sides, as well as all the regular sides. They had socially distanced tables and both waitress’ wore masks, only taking them down after asking permission to let me hear them more clearly.
