It was a day old pizza stake and bland. The pepperoni wasn’t spicy, the sauce wasn’t robust, the mushrooms weren’t sweet, the olives didn’t have bite and the cheese wasn’t cheesing!!

Updated Review – 7/22/23: My in-laws were in town and we decided to get Italian food…. specifically pizza! So, we decided on Salute. We placed the order on the phone and picked it up. We ordered two medium pizzas…. Pepperoni and Sausage…. and the Marano Pizza. Mmmm!!! And we also ordered three House Salads with the Italian Cover…. Delicious! To finish it off, we ordered Tiramisu…. Incredible! As always, I highly recommend Salute Italian Restaurant.

Definitely a great place to eat. My chicken parm was very good, and my wife’s gnocchi had a fantastic white sauce. The house wine was surprisingly good (better than some bottles I have had in other places) and the service was great. Got to meet the owner, such a sweet lady who made us feel part of the family!

Had reservations for 6pm and was seated right away. We put in our order for calamari and thin crust pizza. The portion of calamari was a joke!! The pizza took 50 minutes to get to our table. No one came to tell us what was going on with our pizza. The food was good, nothing spectacular. The service was poor. Street parking and during the weekend hard to find.

Food was good, 2 meatballs on spaghetti was a little sad, and 6 pieces of chicken in pasta was as well, but Service was good, however it was slow service, I’m assuming due to staff shortage. We came to dine 30 minutes after it opened, and the area was sat in was pretty dirty (you can tell it’s not swept or mopped) would’ve given more stars but cleanliness where you eat is a must! I wonder what the kitchen looks like
