First of all this place deserves 4.5 Stars to be more accurate but since they don’t do halves, oh well. When I usually see places like this I get vibes of it being a place that wants to be a nice restaurant but serves bar food. This is not the case with Loud American Roadhouse! They have a charm being located smack dab in the middle of town which helps add to the aesthetic. The atmosphere is really cool looking like a old western town place with modern amenities. You can sit yourself anywhere you want which is nice. Then the waitress is prompt and courteous to ask for your choice of drinks. They bring them out quite fast, and they give you the time you need for the menu. The menu has a decent assortment of choices, but upon discovery you realize very quickly that this place loves it’s steak tips! I ordered some jalapeño poppers, house salad, and steak tip wrap for my meal. The poppers are absolutely to die for! Delicious:) The house salad does its job with a variety of veggies mixed with lettuce nothing more than average, and the wrap was good but not great. The service really shines at this place. The server, and others that come bring out your food are very polite and professional. It helps this place out since the prices for me are a bit higher than what I would like to see, but when you add up the atmosphere, the quality of service, and the good food, I would say that’s fair. Overall, this place deserves your time and money, which makes it a great place to invite friends to join you for a splendid evening. Good times await you at Loud American Roadhouse, just make sure not to come there during the Sturgis Bike Rally!!

Fantastic place to go for great service, music, and atmosphere in the heart of Sturgis any time of year. Onion ring tower was excellent with batter dipped rings. The regional favorite meal of tenderloin tips are the best you will get anywhere in the state. They are cooked medium rare and melt in your mouth from locally sourced beef. Waitstaff is knowledgeable and helpful when you can’t decide.

Agreed, 4.5 would be accurate, SERVICE was amazing, super friendly and accommodating, drinks were great as well, sadly the food was just ok…but they were open 😉 I bet this jawn is poppin when everything is going on in July/August. We were on a roadtrip back to Colorado from Canada and had to stop in, no regrets!

Nice big open atmosphere. Would be great for drinks and to watch a live band. I stopped in for dinner, passing through on a cross country motorcycle trip. I ordered the Ribeye, garlic mashed, and side salad. The mashed were powdered/instant, out of the box. I let them know, and asked for a baked potato. That couldn’t happen so the broccoli came out when I was done with the steak and salad. The salad was just some chopped up iceberg with a little sprinkle of packaged shredded cheese and a plastic wrapped two crackers on top. Certainly wasn’t worth the $32 price tag but the place probably rocks during Sturgis and on the weekends. Crowds gather at the front entrance waiting for a host/hostess but it’s seat yourself. A sign up there would make things better for everyone. The bartenders are doing a great job but seemed overworked, as they need to pay attention to things like the front entrance, food orders and scrambling drinks around the 360 square they work in the center of the place.

We had dinner her in early June. Restaurant is really cool. It has a neat outdoor bar and dining area. An inside and even a 2nd floor (closed upstairs as slower time of year). Had the southwestern salad and it was large, fresh and the Chipotle ranch dressing w/topped grilled chicken was excellent

Service was good. Had pleasant conversation with bartenders. The food was not good. Something they call Smash potatoes looked like deep fried potato patties. Scrambled eggs appeared as though they were cooked in grease, had brown streaks through them. Even the sausage links tasted deep fried. Will not recommend to anyone or go back.

It’s a great lace to eat, especially during the motorcycle rally. They have live music and shade. They always have the best steak tips in the state and surrounding areas.
