I ordered a #12, I believe is what it was 3 pieces chicken, 2 fish and added clams. So where in the hell is my chicken, got fish, fries, hush puppies but No chicken for $16.22. I call no one answers, says their busy, when I left only one car in drive thru is all, cook standing around. I’ll NEVER go back AGAIN, OWNER needs to get his restaurant straightened out

The price is in league with other fish eateries without the freshness. We still enjoy it every now and then for nostalgia purposes. This establishment was nice and clean on the inside. Well stocked. People were friendly, although not so professional. An argument broke out while we were there & upon our arrival, what I took to believe was the mgr was right outside the door smoking. 1. Pretty sure that’s not in compliance with smoking laws needing to be X amount of feet from any establishment entrance 2. It was the guest entrance, not the back. Now given its frigid cold here today, there wasn’t any more “protection” from the elements in the front vs the back. Just my opinion. Anyway, food was delicious & made to order. I believe the hush puppies recipe got revamped. They’re bigger and not as crunchy or brown as before. Nothing bad, just different. It was a great lunch!

First time ever trying this place and also the last. I saw a popular youtuber (president of the fast food secrets club) mention how every city has one but you have never eaten there and it made me want to try it. When i rolled down my window to place an order the entire place smelt like sewage. I noticed the sign with all the menu options was totally destroyed and there wasnt anything to read left. I told the lady i had never eaten here so i will need some help but i know basically what i want. The lady made me feel dumb for not saying what the name of the combo i wanted correctly… except how could i because i didnt have the menu. I pulled up to the window and she was nice from there but i noticed the inside of the building looked as gross as the outside does. The lady handed me my food and i went home. The fries tasted like they were fried in the same fryer as the fish and the fish already tasted like it was fried in a very dirty fryer. It killed my appetite which is saying a lot coming from me. My expectations were maybe the lowest i have ever had ordering food from any place but they really lowed the bar through the floor and the idea that this place passed a health inspection makes me feel like any back alley meth lab should have no problem doing the same

The place looked abandoned. Pulled in and was already iffy by the look then when we got in we weren’t sure it was open except for the fact that one couple was there eating. Part of the entrance was blocked off for some reason. The place was run down and not the bright welcoming LJS we are use to. We ultimately decided to eat elsewhere.

This was an absolute HORRIBLE experience here at the 4th st lubbock location, especially being that is was Mothers day. We decided to go through the drive through to order our food where there was only one car ahead of us . No other customers at all . We were greeted off nicely and told to order when ready to which I replied thank you. When I began to place my order ,a few seconds later the girl very unexpectedly and RUDELY told me to wait. It was the way she told me that caught me off guard. Had she told me in a different manner I wouldn’t have been so upset about the snap back she gave me . Then after waiting for a long period of time another employee came on just as rude rushing us and full of attitude. So much that I told him nevermind on the order but I would like to have the managers name . He then snapped at me refusing to give out the name, to come back tommorow. To yell at paying customers who have the choice to take their time and business anywhere else is absolutely NOT ok. This was meant to be a nice simple day out for me and my family but instead was turned into a disheartening experience due to these 2 employees who decided to take out their frustrations on us with their negative and disgusting attitudes. I work as a S.M in this business and Know that no one deserves this type of service at all. I do not recommend supporting this establishment and the behavior within it and Strongly urge anyone to take their business elsewhere . After seeing similar experiences and reviews from other customers and all being recent ,it’s clear no corrective actions are being reinforced here at this place with the employees and their treatment of customers. DO NOT help this location stay in business. Spend your hard earned money somewhere your appreciated. B.B.B. needs to look into this location and staff.

Sad, just sad. The cashier was polite and professional. The kitchen staff, not so much. Yelling and profanity coming from the kitchen, not good for business. The fish and chicken was so salty it was not edible. The corn and green beans had been sitting in a warmer for so long they tasted burnt. Hush puppies are my favorite. Not from here. Big nasty blobs of batter. Overall, I feel this place should do the area a favor and close their doors. This is one of the. Closest locations to Amarillo and we are sorry we made the trip.
