Came here with my family on Saturday afternoon. All three of us were very happy we did. Not many people in this business can do pulled pork here in Texas. They can and they can do it very well. Brisket was also terrific. The owners were so nice. We will be back often.

I gave them a try recently and was highly disappointed, definitely wont be going back.. The portion size of meat was small and every piece of my brisket was mostly fat, the baked beans tasted like they came out of a can and the potato salad had a bad taste like it was going bad.. The burnt ends were good and the sauce was good that’s the only positive. Also I will add I have lived in Texas most my life and know what Texas BBQ should taste like and this wasn’t it..

We tried Lone Star BBQ for the first time today and it hit the spot! We got the baked potato and the bread pudding. The bread pudding was small but it tasted amazing. We will be back for sure!

Delicious food! I got the brisket sandwich, and it was amazing. I loved the homemade chips as well, you could tell that they were fresh. I got some mac and cheese on the side as well which was very good. My favorite was the BBQ sauce, it was pretty sweet and I could taste some of the brown sugar in it, it was VERY freshly made. Got a pretty simple menu and service was pretty quick, the staff was very friendly as well. Would love to come back here when I get the chance.

I love this place. I go every Saturday when I can. They are only open on Saturday from 11:00 until they sell out of everything so you got to get there early. I definitely recommend it.

I tried it for the first time today. Pull pork is absolutely good…moist, flavorful and very tasty. The brisket wasn’t quite there. The flavor is really really good, but I was was looking for a little more bark. If I could give it a 4.5 stars I would. Maybe about 30 additional minutes on the grill and it will be really good. Homemade potato chips…the best I ever had…and I’ve tried a lot of them. Look for this food truck to become a restaurant in the near future. People, Go Check It Out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Impressed with the meat quality and flavor…really good. Brisket, chicken and sausage were all outstanding. The sides are pretty typical but those beans are some of the best I’ve had.

I had a chance to stop by here and so glad I did. I’ve tried nearly every BBQ place in Spring and Tomball and was amazed how delicious this BBQ is here at Lone Star. The pork ribs, brisket and chicken is off-the-charts delicious. On Saturdays, recommend you go before noon as their food sells out fast, it’s that good!
