A last minute recommendation from our campground turned out to be a fabulous recommendation. We visited in May 2023. The food and drinks were all excellent. I had my best fish tacos on island here and the brownie sundae almost made me cry it was so good. The view and the establishment itself were unique, casual, and comfortable. My son and I stopped in on a Thursday in late June at 7pm. They said it would be 30 minutes but we got in in 12 minutes. We had six oysters and six little neck clams on the half shell and you could still taste the sea they were so fresh. The clam chowder was the best I’ve ever had and my shrimp skewers were to die for. The staff were all very friendly and service was quick even though it was busy. I think I’ll go again to try the seafood stew and lobster rolls. If you are anywhere near Bourne MA make sure you stop by the Lobster Trap and bring your appetite.

We ordered seafood stew, fried seafood platter, and swordfish sandwich. Everything is good. The swordfish is not dry at all. All kinds of fried sea food is also good. The interior is also very nice. The restroom is also clean. The servants check tables all the time which they lower the idle time of tables and try to offer tables to customer who are waiting outside as soon as possible. It’s very awesome as we didn’t wait too long. Just when sitting inside, we need to speak loudly. Probably it’s because all customers share the space the shape of the roof top echoes the sound.

Great seafood with delicious options in an open and laid back setting. We’ve been on several occasions and have sat both indoors and out on the patio. They closed the patio roof when it gets too cool which makes it more comfortable. Indoor seating can be a bit warm on hot days. Service is friendly and attentive but it gets busy so be patient and budget extra time for your meal. While there are many adult options for food and drink, they are family friendly and have a decent kids menu. The chowder is flavorful and the fried seafood is fresh and not too heavy. They also offer some excellent other options including Asian flavors and some unique specials. Prices are on the higher end but justified by the quality and good portions as we left feeling full. A great place for lunch or dinner with friends and family.
