We had an excellent breakfast here. The service was stellar. The food was good. My spouse got the mush (deep fried corn meal patties) and loved them. I was able to get hash browns that were cooked just the way I liked them crispy on the outside. Just the kind of local breakfast place I always look for when traveling. A place where it appears that everyone knows each other!

Here in town on business, got a veggie omlet, home fries, toast & coffee. Awesome coffee, great staff, very good prices. Omlet was good, plenty stuff in the middle. Only thing I’d mention is the home fries weren’t what I thought I’d be getting from looking at the pics online. But I’d definitely come back.

Great comfort food!! Ask for Alana. She will take good care of you. Daily specials that don’t break the bank and that wonderful hometown feel where they make sure to know your name. We usually come here a few times a week! Give them a try. The strawberry shortcake is fresh and amazing! ($3.99)

My son and I had a Pinball tournament at Crazy Martins at 1pm today. I asked the owner if he knew of any good places to eat before the tourney was to begin. He said the Light House was a great place to eat if you haven’t been. So we went, and boy what a pleasant surprise this diner was. AS we entered we were told there are some seats in the back, find yourself a seat and someone will be with you soon. It truly felt like I had walked into my grandma’s kitchen and the vibes this place gave off got me in all my feels. Deanna was our server, and upon letting her know this was our first time being here she suggested a couple items form the menu with such passion and enthusiasm that I wanted to try them all. But alas I was not able to do just that, so my son and I ordered the Cheese Steak Philly, my sons with no green onions. What came out shortly after was heaven in a bun. I didn’t know what expectations to expect from such a place but Deanna was on the money for this suggestion. The cheese alone had so much flavor that I think I could have eaten the Steak and cheese by itself and that would have been amazing! My son and I left very full and with a smile on our faces from the service we had at this pleasant little diner. I can truly say one of the biggest highlights of my day was being suggested to go try the Light House in Piqua. I truly can’t wait to return to try more of the menu. Thank you Deanna for making our afternoon simply…..amazing.

Went for breakfast. Over all service was great ! Atmosphere was diner which was inviting . Food was okay. Had biscuits and gravy … there is a secret to biscuits and gravy … homemade gravy with homemade biscuits…. biscuits was a touch drier than they should be …. gravy well you can taste the can made gravy. But over all pleasant diner and will visit again !

Everyone who worked here seemed to be upbeat and cheery. The breakfast food was delicious and came out to us fast!
