Having just gotten back from the Caribbean last week, this place is legit! The meat pies are amazing and so flaky. The fried fish appetizer was easily enough for four and made fresh. I got the goat as an entree and it did not disappoint one bit. The place is BYO, and just allow yourself ample time for the food. It’s made fresh, and it’s well worth the wait. You can taste the love.

Love this place! Great Caribbean feel and everyone that works here is super nice. It isn’t fast food, so if you’re in a hurry make sure to call ahead. All the food is really good so be sure to step out of your comfort zone. If you’re sensitive to spice make sure to ask if a dish is spicy.

I’ve never had Caribbean food, let alone oxtails, so I got the “just a taste” and I wish I would of gotten the full sized!!

I couldn’t stop eating until all my jerk chicken and rice and peas were gone. The jerk is spicy, sweet, and flavorful. The rice and peas are great with the extra jerk sauce. I usually can’t keep away from the jerk when I eat Caribbean but I’m gonna have to come back to try the oxtail and other menu items. The staff was super friendly. So glad to have this option on Hopewell!

First time to this new location. Always get takeout at other. Food was excellent as usual. Curry was awesome spicy with diff favors. Not just hot. Big difference. Loved the Patties as well.

This location is phasing out pork and kabobs already, which is kinda disappointing. The shredded chicken Jamaican patty was great! The jerk chicken was a little too spicy for my taste and it is all the chicken…be prepared for bones and tendons. The steamed cabbage was on the salty side and the rice and peas was good, just a little over seasoned. I wanted so badly to like their food, but I don’t think I’ll make it a priority to return.

We tried Leon’s for the first time to have a change and so glad we did! We tried the goat curry, shrimp curry, red snapper in the brown sauce. For sides the fried plantain, cabbage, mixed veggies (they’re FRESH veggies, not frozen…makes all the difference) white rice, rice with peas, mac and cheese. Honestly everything was delicious. The goat was so tender and flavorful. The snapper was also fantastic, but word of warning, this is a whole fish with the bones and there are a lot of tiny bones so you have to be careful. The shrimp curry also was so tasty, loved the coconut curry sauce. All of the sides were delicious. We will be back for sure!! So glad to have this in Aliquippa.
