Amazing! Was in town for a conference and came here. I hadn’t realized it was BYOB but the folks next to me graciously shared their wine.

A few weeks ago my wife and I found Lenox Sophia for a night out to celebrate our anniversary. From start to finish, everything was excellent. Cozy and welcoming atmosphere where we were met with friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service. Due to their BYOB license, we were able to bring in a bottle of Champagne and a bottle of red. Cannot say enough about this spot, we absolutely loved it. We were some of the last to linger, and the chef came out to hang for a bit and chat, only elevating the experience. Thank you again to the team for a great night (and one of the best ducks I’ve ever had)!!

Updates: the quality of the food actually went pretty bad and we were so disappointed after revisit. It started with great dining experience with a nice set of meal, but the taste changed a lot and we didn’t really enjoyed the last visit.

The food was so good! The highlight was the porchetta with chicharrón. The place is small and cozy, and the BYOB makes it perfect for a celebration or simply a date night. Will be back when they change their menu to switch it up!

My friend and I came here this weekend to try the 5 course tasting menu. The place seemed like a small apartment transformed into a small kitchen, and we liked the cozy and intimate atmosphere.

Simply for the duck dish, I’ll give it 5 star!!! The duck confit is so tender and umami, beyond what you can imagine for tenderness. The mushroom is very simple but amazingly delicious. Overall a pretty delightful tasting experience!

Spectacular food! The duck confit was the best I’ve ever had. We also enjoyed the beet salad, roast chicken, tagliatelle, celeriac soup, and desserts. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. I will definitely be back!

The food quality & taste are amazing! You can tell that the chef puts a lot of thought and care on pairing to not only elevate the uniqueness of the each ingredient but also harmonizes the dishes as a whole, creating a balanced taste & texture.

Man, I wish Boston had more restaurants like this. Lenox Sophia is truly a gem in a city full of boring restaurants, so many of which are owned by big groups/chains that put predictable revenue above dining experience. $99 bucks a head may seem a bit steep, but all 5 courses we ate were excellent, and with the BYOB policy (which I LOVE – so uncommon in Boston), it ultimately provides pretty solid value.

With a seasonal menu, you’ll always get fresh ingredients that are delicious. Chef’s preparations are full of flavor and texture, sometimes in unexpected and surprisingly delightful ways.
