Samuel Leighton, one of the original settlers to establish Lincoln, Ne. was a man of many talents. One of his better known, was his ability to make great food over the fire. Later in life, he helped to establish the athletics program at UNL. When the owners got together and made the decision to create a Wood Fired, Sports focused bar in the Leighton District, the decision on who to name it after, was an easy one. Leightons Pub has mastered the art of wood fired. Our pizzas, wings, and brunch menu, all make thier way through our wood fired ovens, before being served hot and fresh to our guests. Best place in northeast Lincoln. Outdoor area is especially awesome. They have an outdoor Bean bag toss and Jenga. Outdoor patio is really nice. Shaded and cool even in the heat. Artichoke dip is the best we’ve ever had. Did not care for meatballs. Wish they would get pretzel bites rather than the sticks. Awesome craft cocktails. Overall great experience. We are becoming regulars.

It was once three restaurants now I guess it is one. It was hard finding any staff. It was later than when most lunch customers come in. I had the lobster roll again. It was again very good. I think the price went dramatically up. I also had sweet potato fries that were very good.

our server jillian was awesome, and the atmosphere was great. i would appreciate you turning on the air conditioning during the hot months, no one likes drinking room temperature beer. cocktails were great but due to how muggy it was in the bar, the ice quickly melted and watered down our drinks. great food and great experience otherwise, we will be coming back to see jill soon!

Gotta be one of my favorite places to eat in Lincoln. The burgers are delicious and the service is quick and friendly. I don’ tknow why I picked burgers to talk about but everything is really good. For apps I recommend the Pepperoni Rolls. The wings are also delicious. I’ve never seen boneless wings like these, but I’m a FAN. Give it a shot, it’s open late and connected to a couple of other establishments as well!

The pictures should speak for itself!! We couldn’t even stop to take a good photo of the food before it was basically gone! That’s how amazing the food is! We got just two appetizers the artichoke dip and the cheese curds and they were FUEGOOO . So go and creamy. We got half priced spiked lemonades and it’s like juice. So perfectly mixed! And Dawn, our server was such a gem! Definitely deserves a raise! ⭐️ I will be recommending to all my foodies out there.

Located in Lincoln’s new Leighton District (everything is a “district” these days). We stopped in for an early lunch on a Saturday in March. We had the Pepperoni Rolls, Frings, Braised BBQ Pork Pizza, and the Cuban Sandwich. Everything was good. I really like the Pepperoni Rolls and my Cuban Sandwich was super tasty.
