Best chicken hands down. And I would come back just for the customer service – Kimberly Kaplan exemplifies customer service. She makes you feel at home and then the great chicken is the icing on the cake. The portions are very good sized for what you pay. This location is the best.

Pretty good chicken. If you like Lees Famous Recipe than the is your only option left in the Lexington area. I had just about gave up on this place as I had tried to come and eat here several times over the past year, and sadly always found the dining room to be closed, with drive through service only (which I am not a fan of). However they have finally started opening the dining room again and to my surprise the entire restaurant has been remodeled on the inside. My food was served hot, fresh, and fast by a friendly employee working the front counter. I enjoyed watching Saturday NCAA football games on one of their big screen TV’s while I enjoyed my meal. Can’t wait to come back again soon.

This location has new ownership and they are making this a great place to eat. The chicken is absolutely great & the biscuits….wow. The chicken has always been hot and tasty with polite employees inside & at the drive thru. I have eaten there 5 times in the last 2 months, it’s been great every time. Give them a try. I think you’ll be pleased.

The restaurant was short staffed but they got my order out hot and were so kind and accommodating. I think there were only four people working the whole operation. This was around 7:30 7/28/23 if anyone from management is looking for any team members to compliment. Love coming to this lees

Thought I’d go out for a good meal after eating cold sandwiches on a camping trip for a week. WRONG! Don’t go to this Lee’s! Spend almost $30 on a 8 piece strip family meal. The Mac and cheese was horrible! The strips was so hard I was afraid I was going to break a tooth. Then they forgot to give me the biscuits and dipping sauces. Only thing that was edible was the wedges. Don’t go here if you’re hungry

They do not honor their employee’s word. Make sure you check your bags before leaving this drive thru. I asked the person at the window if an item was in the bag(livers) she replied yes. I live 15 miles away so I took her word. I called when I realized the livers were not in the bag. Given the person’s name and she took my name. She told me to come in anytime to get my item. Three days later the employee no longer works there and the person at the counter refused to give me my item. I was going to order a whole meal with the item. Be weary of the Richmond Rd Lee’s.

I waited in line waiting to pick up after I had ordered my liver dinner, which with the dinner, I got two sides which were mashed potatoes and gravy and Cole slaw. The livers tasted like they had been sitting for a minute and the potatoes and gravy, which was very bland in taste. My total cost was 9.93 would not have been so bad if the food has tasted better.

For those that are very picky about fast food, this is the review you need to read. I have been skeptical about trying this location since the remodel.. Rest assured this location is very clean, they operate a very legit location and they were friendly. It’s refreshing to walk inside and see employees who appreciate their job. Good chicken, good cole slaw, good tea. Sept 2022 the new owners are working hard to run the restaurant well, keep the doors open, and focus on making good food and pleasing their loyal customers. Nov 2022 This Lee’s Chicken restaurant now has very good food, clean dining areas, clean restrooms, and the owners are running a tight ship.

If could give less, I would! Don’t go there. The bosses do not care about their employees. They don’t care about the customers except the money. Richmond, KY one always messes up my order or they our of stuff but guess I will either have to drive back there or Berea! Or go to Popeyes. Food is usually good at this location when u can get it!
