Absolutely loved it here. Tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and it was next level — super crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The heat options are legit, and the slaw + pickles on that soft brioche bun brought it all together.
Also tried the chopped chicken salad and was honestly surprised how fresh and smoky it was. Great portion too. Bonus points for the solid beer selection.
Staff was friendly, the vibe was casual but clean, and everything came out fast. Definitely worth the visit if you’re into real BBQ and bold flavors.

All of the meats were dry, and doused in pepper or some type of sweet rub that is overbearing. I want to say we got a bad batch but we had 5 meats so that can’t be it. The ribs looked like a mutation of something and tasted burnt.
The best part was honestly the pickles.

This place was sooooo good!
Got the Memphis wings, and the brisket burnt ends slider (it was a lower priced alternative to the full brisket, since my main item was the wings)
Sweet and spicy sauces on the table were great.
Fries were great, especially w the aioli sauce that came w the brisket

Visiting an old friend in Chicago. Brought her here for birthday dinner yesterday. I was very disappointed. We are both Southerners – her Tennessee, me Southside Virginia – and the sauces were unrecognizable. We both got pulled pork. We both got coleslaw. She was fairly satisfied. Me not at all. The pulled pork was dry and flavorless (how is that possible with PORK?). There was a strange rub on it – odd spices. The coleslaw was OK and unremarkable. The hush puppies were the best part – flavorful and crisp. But the sauces. I know that once I leave VA/NC, the “North Carolina” sauce will be way off. But I always try. It’s just masochistic. All the sauces were super sweet and weirdly thick, and the NC was dark brown. Eastern NC-style BBQ sauce is not very sweet at all. It is vinegary and peppery and reddish-orange and very thin. (And Western-style NC is not all that different, just has a tinch of ketchup in it.) My friend said the Memphis was not good and nothing she recognized, though she was happy with the pork. My recommendation to y’all: Go online and find King’s Famous BBQ sauce (Petersburg, VA) from the Taste Supply Company. Use it.

Had a great experience at Q BBQ.
Tried plater and lil Q was big enough to share with 2 persons. Love their rib and burnt ends.
Gravy was very addictive
The restaurants have variety of condiments and sink to wash your hands.
Customer service was great but slow as there was only one server and he looked very busy!!

Got the smoked chicken wings mix spicy and Memphis favored. Extremely disappointed in amount of both smoke and favor on both types of wings. All the wings were excessively dry and over burnt. My guess the wings were cooked hot and fast by someone who had never smoked wings before. This was my first and last time eating from this place. I gonna share my experience with area residents

Let me start by saying mmmmmmmm. Best brisket I’ve had in Chicagoland so far. The brisket sandwich was perfect, generous amount of meat the bun was good the sauce was delicious it had the perfect zing to it. I ordered Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes (could have used some more gravy). Fries were a bit greasy but good. Definitely going back. I ordered delivery and the sandwich was not soggy it was perfect. I’ll dine in next time

I can’t say I didn’t like the food. First time here, customer service was very good. I don’t think I got to sit down all the way and my food was already being brought out to our table. I had the pulled pork sandwich, Mac and cheese, corn bread (2 slices), and hush puppies ( delicious). The place is rustic and has plenty of windows. There is parking that you pay for, it’s about $1/hr which is perfect. I spent about 1 and a half here. They also serve beer and hard seltzers.

I came here with my wife for date night and we’re immediately disappointed because they were out of ribs which my wife really had her heart set on.
While the food was ok, the service was absolutely phenomenal. Josh, I believe he might be the manager, turned our disappointment in one of the best dining experience in a while, my wife is still talking about him and had me write this review.
Anyways Josh, you were awesome and Maddie I believe, from Idaho, you were equally amazing. Thank you for the great service and hopefully your bosses see this and know that you two are the only reason we’ll be back to try to the ribs.

I eat here once a week when I travel to Oak Park and I enjoy it every time. I’ve had bbq all over the USA and it varies with every region. I have had bad bbq, good bbq, and great bbq. This is great bbq. I get something different on each visit, and it’s all been great!
