From the very outset, stepping into Laundry reveals a tantalizing enigma: a cozy interior giving little hint of the expansive alfresco wonder that lies beyond its confines. In the warmer months, one is led into an intricately designed outdoor space, replete with hidden nooks that invoke immediate comfort. The gentle murmur of a nearby creek offers the kind of auditory blanket that lulls one into a serene trance.

Wow, loved this place, yummy. Setting outside by river is wonderful, service was superb, drinks large enough, wine list accessible and good. Those who read my reviews will notice I very rarely issue 5 stars. Small plates are many and varied, deserts are good too. Can’t wait to go back. A Michelin one star for sure maybe 2. Huh

We were in town for a few days and knew we needed to try this place. Let me just say, from service to the culinary experience. They offer “small plates” that are family style but don’t be swayed by the word “small”. My husband and I shared two small plates and a dessert and were so full. The dessert is not to be missed as well. All around fabulous experience!!

We came here early on a Monday evening for dinner with our kids, and were blown away! Given our 5pm reservation, the restaurant was mostly empty. Our server (shout out to Jordan) was friendly, helpful, and great with our kids. We enjoyed a few glasses of wine off the happy hour menu while sharing the eggplant and pow pow shrimp dishes from the small plates section. We then moved on to the lamb and pork belly lettuce wraps as our main dishes. Everything was delicious and came in large enough portions for the two of us to share the four small plates as a full meal. We enjoyed several of the cocktails, including the Kentucky Fall, Bout Figgin’ Thyme, and their daily infusion special which was mezcal-based. Beyond being delicious, the menu items were priced very well and offer excellent value. A must stop during your next visit to Steamboat!

From ambiance, service, to quality food – you will not be disappointed. True, there is a little sticker shock, especially when our waiter told us a full meal would be two “small plates” per person which would be more like a $$$ restaurant.

Food is extraordinary! Highly recommend! We tried the chef’s menu which is very good. In addition, I recommend the Hash (the sprout is well cooked with very flavorful blue cheese). The steak tips is too salty! But given this restaurant is in a ski town, I will still give them 5 stars!!!!

We sat at the bar for happy hour, and were blown away by the excellent service and atmosphere. This place seems to be owned by the same outfit as Creekside Cafe next door, which is also fantastic. The owners/mgmt of these places clearly know what they are doing. The staff is very well-trained and professional. The menus are both on the expensive side, but it’s really hard to find this combination of good food and service in the mountains, so in my opinion, the prices are absolutely justified. The happy hour tacos and baked+fried smashed potatoes were great. Don’t bother with the HH meat and cheese board, it’s basically a lunchable. The HH pimento cheese was not good. Hard to complain about happy hour bar bites at this place, though. They seem to be doing everything else right.

Absolutely must try restaurant. My family and I had an amazing experience with Tia in the bar/cocktail area. She was so knowledgeable about the menu and was able to recommend the best foods on the menu. Tia made amazing cocktails and made the overall experience great!! Each member of the food running staff made sure to explain all parts of the dish and made sure we had everything we needed. Dessert was an absolute must try!! Rex’s Coconut cream pie

Large plate twice price of small plate and I bet you can’t tell which is which. My wife couldn’t even eat her bison. The lamb looked and tasted like brisket. We asked the waiter about the lamb/ brisket mix up and he walked away.

Went here for happy hour and had different drinks and appetizers. This was a fun idea and all their food items, brisket and potatoes, cheese board, and tacos were really tasty. During happy hour they have wine by the glass at a price of whatever time it is. So for example, at 5:30pm, the wine is $5.30 per glass. Clever and fun. Lovely inside and comfortable even in the summer heat.
